The best tour for New Delhi

I did the tour with Teerthraj as a guide and it was very good. We started at the Qutub Minar, which was very impressive. All the details that were worked by hand into the stones there are very special and unique and I really liked them. In general, the environment around the Qutub Minar was also very nice, lots of green and impressive building. On the way to the Lotus Temple we ate some street food too which was really delicious. The Lotus Temple is definitely very special especially from the inside as there are no images of God there and the acoustics were just very touching and special when we were in there. New Dilly just has so much to offer that I felt like it was just getting better and better! Humayun's Tomb was also incredibly impressive, especially the temples and structures around it. The whole facility was like a work of art and very interesting to see. After a short and relaxed detour at Lodhi Garden, which was very green and relaxed and also very clean we drove on to India Gate. At this point it is also super pleasant to have a private driver, we had Khan as a very good driver that day and it is just nice to be flexible. Finally we were at the Sikh Temple and that was really a highlight again. You are not allowed to take photos here, but there is also the largest community kitchen and it was very impressive to get an insight into the work and behind the scenes there. Overall, therefore, a highly recommended tour!

We strongly recommend Birkham as your guide in Delhi

Birky was a great guide all through out Delhi, he not only included the best landmarks but also some unexpected ones and he did not only give us the history and art contents but also explained the rituals, life form and religion point of view you need to really enjoy India. A great starting point for our tour through India! Also he was all the time aware of our safety and even when we were on our own kept checkin on us until we got to the hotel safely. Very recommended!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your glowing review! We're thrilled to hear that Birky provided you with a comprehensive and enriching tour of Delhi. It's wonderful to know that he not only included the must-see landmarks but also introduced you to unexpected gems and provided insights into the cultural aspects, rituals, and daily life in India, which truly enhance the experience of exploring the country. Ensuring your safety and well-being is always our priority, so we're glad to hear that Birky went above and beyond to keep you safe and checked on you until you reached your hotel safely. New Delhi Full Day City Tour – History Culture & Iconic Landmarks: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jaipur.

How much does New Delhi Full Day City Tour – History Culture & Iconic Landmarks cost?

+

Prices start at $18 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jaipur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does New Delhi Full Day City Tour – History Culture & Iconic Landmarks take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jaipur is not rushed.

Is New Delhi Full Day City Tour – History Culture & Iconic Landmarks worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jaipur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule New Delhi Full Day City Tour – History Culture & Iconic Landmarks?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is New Delhi Full Day City Tour – History Culture & Iconic Landmarks suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book New Delhi Full Day City Tour – History Culture & Iconic Landmarks?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jaipur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jaipur and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does New Delhi Full Day City Tour – History Culture & Iconic Landmarks start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jaipur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Jaipur?

+

On Outty we rank every Jaipur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Sunrise Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi By Car -All inclusive, Private Jaipur Full One Day Tour In Pink City With Guide, Private Full Day Jaipur Sightseeing Tour By Tuk Tuk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Jaipur?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Jaipur?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
