    Best Excursion Experience!!

We originally were going to book this through a well-known excursion company here at the resort but it was twice the price and on a bus with 30+ other people. We decided to book this one based on price. We are so glad we did!! We had a personal driver, Mark, who was the absolute best company for the entire 9 hours we were gone. He was very knowledgeable about the area and told us about the parishes and the local island lifestyle along the way to our 1st destination. We arrived at Negril Beach right by Margaritaville. $15 for loungers for the day, right on the beach. Great food all along the beach and some cute shops to check out. Our guide waited close by and kept an eye on eye on us in case we wanted to venture somewhere else or needed anything. Next stop was Rick’s Cafe. Great food, decent prices and absolutely gorgeous sunset. Again, Mark our guide waited nearby for us to finish whatever we had planned at Rick’s. The diving was fun to watch and my husband took part and said it was so refreshing and exhilarating. Many levels to jump from. On our way back we were able to stop at a local gas station to pick up some candy to bring back to our kids. I cannot express how great Mark was and would 1000% recommend you book this trip!!

ATV, Horse back , ZipLine, Rick Cafe, Dunn’s river Luminous Lagoon and More in Jamaica

We were based in Negril Royalton and used Demar for all our local excursions. Demar came highly recommended and he didn’t disappoint. I think Demar’s best asset is not only his knowledge of Jamaica but also how he handle tourists need. He is very flexible and can gauge what interest his guests to suggest what will suit the situation. First day he took us JamWest for ATV, Zip Line and Horse back riding which was perfect for our two teenage boys that needed fun activities. That was a big hit. For lunch we went to a nice Authentic local Jamaican Resturant that served Oxtail and goat curry dish. Headed to Rick cafe and jumped the cliff ES to finish the day. Second day he took us to Ocho Rios famous Dunn’s River, white river tubing and the Luminous Lagoon. All three were great experiences and defiantly two are bucket list items. We also had Jamaican Pattie’s for lunch/snack and great seafood at Runaway Beach Campari for dinner. Another awesome day for the books. Overall I would say the places we went to were very nice and our experiences greatly enhanced by Demar’s knowledge and company. Zak

    Great Trip to Negril

I really enjoyed this trip. Stopped at Seven Mile Beach, got some jerk chicken, a tan and a swim. Seven Mile is a great beach, it stays shallow for a ways out but still really nice. Then I went to Rick's and made the drop which was fun and finally stopped at place to get bbq pork. They did a great and never rushed me; I'd definitely tour with them again.

Response from the operator: Thank you Troy for your kind words of recommendation, it was our pleasure having you in our beautiful country and can’t wait to do it all over again!

Negril 7 Miles Beach, Ricks Cafe and Shopping: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Montego Bay.

How much does Negril 7 Miles Beach, Ricks Cafe and Shopping cost?

    +

Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Montego Bay usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Negril 7 Miles Beach, Ricks Cafe and Shopping take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Montego Bay is not rushed.

Is Negril 7 Miles Beach, Ricks Cafe and Shopping worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Montego Bay, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Negril 7 Miles Beach, Ricks Cafe and Shopping?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Negril 7 Miles Beach, Ricks Cafe and Shopping suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Negril 7 Miles Beach, Ricks Cafe and Shopping?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Montego Bay can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Montego Bay and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Negril 7 Miles Beach, Ricks Cafe and Shopping start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Montego Bay within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Montego Bay?

    +

On Outty we rank every Montego Bay experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Montego Bay Airport Transfer to Negril, Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls Private Tour from Montego Bay, Appleton Estate Admission Ticket & Distillery Tour with Tastings. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Montego Bay?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Montego Bay?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
