Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve (SBWR) guided tour
Our Nature tour guide was the wonderful James Chan. He showed us round Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve (SBWR.) The information was educational, relevant and very interesting. We spent a wonderful few hours seeing many interesting animals in their natural habitat. Thank you

Fantastic experience!
This was a wonderful way to see the wetlands! We didn’t have a lot of time to explore on our own, and we wanted to learn as much as possible — our guide was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate! We saw a crocodile, kingfishers, crabs, archer fish, mud skippers, a ton of monitor lizards, storks, and so much more. We learned a ton about the history of the land and the ecosystem of the mangroves.
Response from the operator: Hi! Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with us. We’re thrilled you enjoyed the nature tour of SBWR. Your feedback made our day and is a huge encouragement, inspiring us to consistently give our all. What’s a rewarding experience, thank you very much and hope to see you in your next trip to Singapore.

Enthusiastic guide and a beautiful reserve
I hired James to take my mother on a tour of Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. Before the tour, he answered all my questions and checked to see if my mother had any special requirements. I felt very reassured that she would be in good hands on the tour. When my mother arrived at the Wetland Centre, James met her and, upon discovering that she had forgotten her sun hat, he very kindly provided her with a spare hat that he had brought. My mother found that he was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the reserve and many other topics. He looked after her very well and made sure that she had opportunities to rest in shade where possible. They saw lots of wildlife, even a croc or two! We would not hesitate to use James again in future.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for the nice, quite comprehensive review of your nature tour to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. Importantly, we were glad that we had taken good care of your mother during the nature walk. We look forward to seeing you, and your mother again. Wishing you and your mother, A Happy Blessed New Year 2024. Cheers!

Sungei Buloh in the morning
Our guide James was amazing! He brought a wealth of knowledge to the tour on history, ecology, and wildlife. I added numerous species of birds to my lifelist and had a great time during the visit. James brought a spotting scope which made it easier for us since we were traveling without one. James surprised us with his knowledge of lots of different things including plants and even fish. Even though we were focused on birds, a highlight for me was watching the giant mudskippers (a species of fish) and monitor lizards.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your very nice and strong compliment. It is so important to mention Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve's history, culture and biodiversity to our guests, just as much as showing you the migratory shorebirds which is the main attraction during the season of migratory birds from August to April. We are so happy that you have enjoyed our nature guided tour to SBWR. Looking forward to seeing you and your loved one in Singapore again. Have a happy blessed day ahead:)

Morning tour
Spent a fascinating morning with James, a hugely passionate guide. Wonderful walk through the mangroves seeing the wildlife.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your excellent review. We enjoyed showing you and your group around the wetland reserve just as much as your group enjoyed the nature walk and seeing wildlife in the wetland. Hope to see you and your group in Singapore again. Have a happy blessed day ahead.

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Nature Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Singapore.
How much does Nature Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $130 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Singapore usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Nature Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Singapore is not rushed.
Is Nature Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Singapore, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Nature Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Nature Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Nature Tour?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Singapore can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Singapore and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Nature Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Singapore within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Singapore?
+
On Outty we rank every Singapore experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Singapore Highlights Small Group Bike Tour on Full-Sized Bicycles, Lion City Bike Tour of Singapore, Singapore River Cruise, Night Garden Rhapsody & Spectra by CYT. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Singapore?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Singapore?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
