    Pleasant transfer and tour

Our driver, Tonino, was an absolute delight! After 12 days of traveling, we were tired and he was such a friendly and accommodating driver. He told stories, he was funny, and he made sure that the 4 of us were comfortable and took good care of us. Meeting up with him went very smoothly, and him connecting us with our archeologist was seamless. Our Pompeii archeologist guide, Fabio, was so great! He is obviously passionate about his work, and enjoys sharing that with others. He kept things moving, which was good because it was a brutally hot day, but we didn’t feel rushed. After our tour, Fabio ensured that we met up with Tonino easily to continue our journey to our Naples hotel. Tonino did offer to take us to a place for food and wine for lunch, but our daughters have food allergies and we were too exhausted to add one more item to our last day itinerary. I am sure it would have been fun, though! As we drive through Naples towards our hotel, Tonino narrated places we passed and even sang a little song as we were pulling up to our hotel. He was pleasant and friendly and a wonderful way to end our Italy vacation. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely Wonderful Guide and drive from Naples to Sorrento with a stop in Pompeii!

We absolutely enjoyed our transfer from Naples to Sorrento with a two hour stop in Pompeii with a tour guide! Nicola, our driver was wonderful and gave us great insight to Naples and all throughout our drive to Sorrento. Salvatore, our guide through Pompeii was fu. And so knowledgeable about what we were seeing. I would HIGHLY recommend using Amalfi Coast Private Tours!!!

Smoothest transfer Naples to Sorrento via Pompei

It was the best and smoothest transfer with Nicola picking us up at the Naples train station and transferring us in a beautiful Mercedes to Sorrento. We also had a guided tour in Pompeii with an excellent tour guide Rossa waiting for us right on time. Nicola also went out of his way and took us to a Lemoncello factory on the way to Sorrento. He was an excellent guide and told us about the local community along the way. Will highly recommend Nicola and this company.

    Well Worth it!

Picked up by Fabio in a Big Mercedes van that fit all four of us with so much room for our 4 huge bags. We then met Veronica at Pompeii, here passion and knowledge was outstanding. It was a quick tour but I feel we captured all of the areas necessary. She was funny and has a great personality. Highly reccomend. Then Fabio picked us up and drove us to Sorrento he stopped for a photo and pointed out all the towns of the way. Well worth it! I would definitely book again.

Naples to Sorrento with stop at Pompeii or Vice Versa: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.

How much does Naples to Sorrento with stop at Pompeii or Vice Versa cost?

    +

Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Naples to Sorrento with stop at Pompeii or Vice Versa take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.

Is Naples to Sorrento with stop at Pompeii or Vice Versa worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Naples to Sorrento with stop at Pompeii or Vice Versa?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Naples to Sorrento with stop at Pompeii or Vice Versa suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Naples to Sorrento with stop at Pompeii or Vice Versa?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Naples to Sorrento with stop at Pompeii or Vice Versa start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Naples?

    +

On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naples?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naples?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
