Family Trip Made Easy Thanks to This Team
We traveled with a big family group—including my elderly parents—and needed help planning several transfers across southern Italy. Vito helped us setup the schedule, and everything ran really smooth. We visited Padula (our family’s hometown), then headed to Amalfi, and ended with a tour of Pompeii. Our driver, Giovanni, was incredible. Always on time, very knowledgable, and just made us feel at ease wherever we went. He even pointed out interesting sites along the way that we never would’ve known about. Walter showed us around Pompeii and was super informative—brought history to life without making it feel like a school trip. Traveling with a big group can be stressfull, but working with this team made it simple and relaxing. Definately recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Great driver. Was...
Great driver. Was waiting for us at the train station. Navigated the windy streets to Amalfi very well! Pompeii was huge we might've needed more time there. We had the audio tour but it was not that easy to navigate. Should've researched what are the highlights to see before getting there or gotten a guide.

Fabulous experience!
I cannot say enough positive thoughts about Veronica as our tour host in Pompeii and Fabio as our driver. This process was absolutely seem less. Our family was picked up at the Naples train station on time with Fabio even reaching out to make sure we were okay! We were informed where he would be and he was there with a sign in hand. He brought us over to Pompeii where Veronica was waiting for us. Veronica brought us right into Pompeii (she is one of the VIP tour guides) we did not wait on any line. Veronica knew everything about Pompeii and shared so many interesting stories with us. She made us feel like family. When the tour was over Fabio was right there waiting for us. He even reached out to our next Airbnb location in Amalfi to make sure they knew we were on our way. As we drove he pointed out different sites and also shared stories about different locations. As an American tourist I was so worried about this part of the trip having to put so much trust in strangers. We left all our belongings on the van, to tour Pompeii, with very expensive purchases from Rome. My worries dissolved once I met Fabio and Veronica. They took such excellent care of all of us and I will always remember them as being the highlight of this part of the trip. When we travel back to Italy I will reach out to them again! Thank you so very much Veronica and I wish you all the success you deserve for running such an amazing company and being such a beautiful person!

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Naples to Sorrento or Amalfi Coast & Pompeii plus Winery or Back: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Naples to Sorrento or Amalfi Coast & Pompeii plus Winery or Back cost?
+
Prices start at $85 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Naples to Sorrento or Amalfi Coast & Pompeii plus Winery or Back take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Naples to Sorrento or Amalfi Coast & Pompeii plus Winery or Back worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Naples to Sorrento or Amalfi Coast & Pompeii plus Winery or Back?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Naples to Sorrento or Amalfi Coast & Pompeii plus Winery or Back suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Naples to Sorrento or Amalfi Coast & Pompeii plus Winery or Back?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Naples to Sorrento or Amalfi Coast & Pompeii plus Winery or Back start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
