Naples Sunset Cruise 40' Vessel

AWFUL

I am extremely disappointed by the way my family was treated before our sunset cruise. We were celebrating my grandmother’s 80th birthday with our entire family, and everyone had reservations. My parents and siblings boarded first. When I approached with my family, the employee checking people in, Braxton, stopped me and insisted our party had an extra person. We did not. I calmly explained that I had the same last name as the rest of my family who had already boarded and that there must have been a mistake. Instead of listening, he repeatedly interrupted me, argued with me, and treated me as though I was trying to board without a reservation. I asked another employee in the same uniform if he could assist because Braxton was being so rude. His response was simply “No,” and he told me to deal with Braxton. Trying to get my partner, who had our baby, so he could help explain the situation, I stepped toward the boat. Braxton immediately said, “If you take another step, that’s a felony charge.” I was shocked that such an extreme statement was made over what was ultimately their mistake. He then made me wait alone on the dock while he walked onto the boat to verify my reservation with my family. After a couple of minutes, he returned and admitted I was, in fact, on the reservation and allowed me to board. The entire interaction was unnecessary, humiliating, and completely overshadowed what should have been a joyful celebration for my grandmother’s 80th birthday. Mistakes happen, but the way Braxton handled the situation—with hostility, accusations, interruptions, and threats—was completely unprofessional. Families deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect, especially when the issue turns out to be an employee’s mistake. I sincerely hope management addresses both the customer service and professionalism displayed by the staff working check-in.

Way too crowded-we couldn’t see anything!

We sat in the second row with my elderly aunt and her companion who couldn’t stand more than a few minutes at a time. The people in the front row blocked our view, along with the 40 people behind us, by standing up the entire trip even though they were asked to sit down by many people behind us. The crew said they could do nothing about it because “it’s open seating and people can move around as they like”. There were no other seats so we could not move. We paid over $60 per person to be on an overcrowded boat with views of butts and backs. I promise you will do much better with another company. Don’t waste your money with Pure Florida Naples!!

40' Sunset Cruise

We were on the 40' vessel due to overflow for the sunset cruise. By the end of the evening, we felt it was an advantage to be on the smaller boat! The view, the captain's narrative- all was so much better!

Chris & Braxton’s Sunset Tour

Chris & Braxton are the perfect duo for the tour they took us on. We live in Sarasota but enjoy visiting Naples. This was the first boat tour we’ve ever taken in the area. Both guys were very knowledgeable about everything from the dolphins to Port Royal to the sunset. Wouldn’t doubt if we do it again someday!🤗
