A True Neapolitan Experience

Giuseppe D’Angelo - Naples tour This was our second tour with Giuseppe, but this time it was in his hometown of Napoli. Since he was born and raised there, it was one of the best tours we experienced on our trip. He picked us up early again and he made sure that we got our full tour and more. He was very generous with his time and we covered most of the important historical sites in the city. We got to hear some great stories about growing up in Naples during the 70s and 80s and the personal touch made us appreciate the city even more. (Ask him about playing soccer in the Galleria Umberto when he was a child or swimming in the city’s fountains.) His company is the only company you will need to learn about and enjoy Naples. Bring: water, comfortable walking shoes, camera & money

Response from the operator: Hello Steve, Thank you very much. It was a privilege for me to show you and Theresa my city! Next time you come to Naples we go together to play soccer in the Galleria Umberto and after that we go for a great food street experience getting the traditional "pizza a foglietto" which is a mini-margherita pizza folded within a paper napkin!! It's just 1,5 Eur in Naples and it's excellent!! I can't wait to do this with you Ciao and take care Giuseppe

My All-Time Favorite Tour!

There were 4 in my group, two interested in photography and two that were more interested in food. Vincenzo suggested a combination photo & food tour of Naples and it ended up being the perfect day! Federica & Vincenzo were both enthusiastic and professional. They were waiting for us just outside the cruise terminal and asked about our preferences for the tour. They were clearly concerned about us getting to see what we wanted and making the most of our time together. We had such an amazing day! It was just the right mix of history and photo opportunities and food sampling. We ventured into the street markets which we would have NEVER found on our own. The tour price included food samples along the way and a really great pizza lunch! All four of us loved the tour and were very fond of Federica and Vincenzo! Thank you for a wonderful introduction to Naples! We'll be back soon for another tour!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your nice words! It was a pleasure spend some time with your great group showing you our beautiful city. We really hope to see you again!

So great we have booked our return trip for 2019!

Spent an amazing day with Vincenzo, Federica, and Pasquale. We were picked up at the hotel by all three and Pasquale drove us safely to Mount Vesuvius where we explored the volcano. The afternoon we spent with Vincenzo and Federica with a customized walking and tour with tasting traditional Neapolitan dishes. The walking tour was excellent with both Federica and Vincenzo taking time to explain the rich history of the area, and showing us hidden treasures that we would not have discovered on our own. We covered many kilometers that day, while stopping to enjoy the local dishes. We are returning again in June 2019 and will be booking another tour. You all did an amazing job for our personal tour, it made us feel like we have been friends for many years.

Response from the operator: Dear Tom and Walda, thank you so much for your kind words. It was a pleasure for us to spend the day with you showing our city. We look forward to meet you again. Kind regards, Vincenzo, Federica and Pasquale

I just bought a new camera and...

I just bought a new camera and wanted to learn how to use it. We were also traveling to Naples. Why not combine the two...Walk through the different markets of Naples, see the different ancient gates of the city, eat wonderful food, and learn how to use my camera in the company of a professional tour guide and a professional photographer. This was the best tour of all the different smells, sights, tastes, and exposure to the real people of Naples that anyone could want...with the bonus of having a photographer show me some great places to take pictures. We HIGHLY recommend this tour not just to learn camera tricks, but to see the real Naples and come home with better pictures.

Naples Photo and Street-Food Walking Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.

How much does Naples Photo and Street-Food Walking Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $105 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Naples Photo and Street-Food Walking Tour take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.

Is Naples Photo and Street-Food Walking Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Naples Photo and Street-Food Walking Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Naples Photo and Street-Food Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Naples Photo and Street-Food Walking Tour?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Naples Photo and Street-Food Walking Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Naples?

+

On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naples?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naples?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
