It’s ok
Dont book direct with the operator as it is more expensive, we paid £25 each. It was ok for what we needed, see the seaside and the city whilst sitting down 😅. The information guide could be a lot better, we were completely lost and didn’t know what building they were talking about most of the time 🤷🏽♀️
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're glad you enjoyed exploring the city and coast in comfort. We also appreciate your constructive comments regarding our commentary and guidance; we're actively working to improve these details to ensure a clearer experience. Thank you again for helping us grow, and we hope to welcome you back!

Great sights but poor delivery
Bus trip itself was pretty decent and great intro to the city. Audio guide was great but does not always line up with the spot you are at so can get a little confusing. The staff give you ear phones so that is great and part of the price. However, it’s easier said than done to find the pickup spots when arriving by train. There was no indication on the bus stop at the main train station as to whether the bus stopped there, I did notice as we went round other stops did have signs. This was very stressful as we walked around for at least an hour to find the pickup. We even asked a police officer who was as unsure as we were. The tour operator was not very helpful in providing assistance. I even attempted to contact the phone number but there was no answer. When returning, the tour ran over 2 hours by 15-20min due to a bus change over we were not aware was happening. The tour then waited around 15 - 20 minutes for no apparent reason to me whilst the driver was talking to random folks outside, seemingly waiting for another bus. I would recommend tour but give yourself time to find the pickup points and at the end before going elsewhere. We had a train to catch after the tour which caused stress due to the waiting around.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review and for enjoying the bus tour and audio guide. We sincerely apologize for the stress caused by the station signage, missed call, and return delay. We are actively reviewing our customer support and scheduling to improve stop directions and timing accuracy. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again!

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Naples: Open Bus Naples City Tour drop-on drop-off: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Naples: Open Bus Naples City Tour drop-on drop-off cost?
+
Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Naples: Open Bus Naples City Tour drop-on drop-off take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Naples: Open Bus Naples City Tour drop-on drop-off worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 355 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Naples: Open Bus Naples City Tour drop-on drop-off?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Naples: Open Bus Naples City Tour drop-on drop-off suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Naples: Open Bus Naples City Tour drop-on drop-off?
+
Around 124 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Naples: Open Bus Naples City Tour drop-on drop-off start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
