Worst experience do not come!
Terrible terrible experience. A complete rip off, the worst thing we ever did in Vienna. We initially thought Mozart died here, atleast it was implied by the staff. They not only overcharged us despite us being 18. We asked for refund and they told us they can “pay us back” and for us to pay again in order for a refund. What the hell? Not only that the blonde old woman in charge was super rude. Stating how the prices displayed on items are “different” to the items sold because of manufacturer, basically scamming us. The projections are cheap, boring and made using AI. So embarrassing for an establishment that prides themselves on recreating Mozarts legacy. And don’t even dare respond with it being an “immersive experience”. I work in tourism and will be advising as many to not come here.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that your visit did not meet your expectations. We sincerely regret that you were dissatisfied with the admission process and your interaction with our team. Providing a welcoming and transparent experience for every guest is very important to us, and we take your comments regarding the ticket pricing, refund process, customer service, and shop pricing seriously. We will review your feedback internally with the team involved. Regarding the points you raised: Mythos Mozart is located at the site where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart passed away, where his final apartment once stood. We are sorry if the information provided during your visit caused any confusion. While the original building was replaced in the 1840s, the location itself is historically significant. Regarding the refund process, our ticketing system only allows a full refund of a ticket rather than a partial price adjustment. For that reason, our team offered to refund the adult ticket in full so that the correct youth ticket could be purchased instead. Adult tickets are valid from the age of 19. Thank you for pointing out that this could be communicated more clearly. We will update our ticket information to state that youth tickets are valid for guests aged 6 to 18 years. One of our five experience rooms features an artwork by internationally renowned media artist Refik Anadol, who intentionally uses artificial intelligence to explore how AI might "dream" of Mozart after learning from the available data about his life and work. The room shown in your photo, however, is not AI generated but consists of handcrafted animations created specifically for the experience. Finally, we will review the pricing of all shop items to ensure that the displayed prices correspond with those in our checkout system. If there was a discrepancy, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and will correct it. Thank you again for your feedback. Although we are sorry that your visit did not meet your expectations, your comments help us identify areas where we can improve the experience for future guests. Kind regards, The Mythos Mozart Team

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Mythos Mozart - the immersive multimedia experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vienna.
How much does Mythos Mozart - the immersive multimedia experience cost?
+
Prices start at $27 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vienna usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mythos Mozart - the immersive multimedia experience take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Vienna is not rushed.
Is Mythos Mozart - the immersive multimedia experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 112 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Vienna, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mythos Mozart - the immersive multimedia experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mythos Mozart - the immersive multimedia experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mythos Mozart - the immersive multimedia experience?
+
Around 39 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vienna can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vienna and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mythos Mozart - the immersive multimedia experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vienna within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Vienna?
+
On Outty we rank every Vienna experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Authentic Vienna Food Tour inc. lunch, street food, 3 drinks, Vienna Food Tour: Coffeehouses, Markets, Lunch & Street Food, Budapest Small-Group Day Trip from Vienna. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Vienna?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Vienna?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
