Mystic Mountain Bobsled-Raggamuffin, Zipline, ATV, & Dunn's River

Fun activities, but some areas need improvement

I visited Mystic Mountain Adventures in Ocho Rios and purchased the local package, which included the Raggamuffin ride, ziplining and ATV riding. Overall, I had a pleasant day, and there are some really enjoyable activities and very friendly staff, but I felt that the experience was not quite as good value for money as I had expected. The bobsleigh was probably my favourite activity. It was fun and enjoyable, and I would definitely recommend trying it. The rock climbing was also very good. particularly because it was accessible even for beginners and allowed you to climb quite a good distance up the wall. The general activity area was well organised, and the staff throughout the park were kind, helpful and hardworking. The Sky Explorer was an interesting experience and gives you a very different perspective as you travel high above the park. However, if you are nervous about heights, be aware that it is quite high and the open design can feel a little intimidating. I personally would have preferred something more enclosed, like a traditional cable car. The Raggamuffin ride was okay, although it was not one of the highlights of my visit. The ziplining was also somewhat disappointing. I had expected more than three lines, particularly given the overall cost of the package. The three lines were relatively short and, rather than providing scenic views, the experience was mainly through the trees. More lines and/or longer runs would, in my view, make this activity feel much better value for money. The ATV experience was the biggest disappointment for me. I have driven ATVs at other adventure parks, so I am familiar with riding them and with different types of terrain. At Mystic Mountain, however, the route was extremely rough almost throughout. There was very little opportunity to ride on smoother or more level terrain, as the route involved continuous rough ground, including both uphill and downhill sections. For me, this made the experience feel more like hard work than an enjoyable adventure. I also felt that some sections of the route could be quite challenging, particularly for less experienced riders. I noticed that a number of the ATVs appeared to have sustained damage, and I wonder whether the condition of the terrain may contribute to this, as it can make it more difficult for riders to control the vehicles and maintain a safe distance from one another. This is the area where I would particularly encourage management to review the experience. I appreciate that an ATV adventure is supposed to be challenging, but there should perhaps be a better balance of terrain, with some smoother sections where riders can enjoy the experience rather than having to concentrate continuously on navigating very rough ground which was dangerous in nany parts.Reviewing the route, improving certain sections or introducing some smoother areas could make a significant difference to both enjoyment and safety. One of the positives that should definitely be mentioned is the restaurant upstairs . The food was good, the cocktails were excellent, and the restaurant staff were particularly friendly, welcoming and professional. They deserve recognition for the service they provided. Overall, I think Mystic Mountain has a lot to offer and there are some genuinely enjoyable activities. The staff were lovely, and I hope management will take this feedback in the spirit intended and consider reviewing the ATV route and some of the activities so that visitors can enjoy the experience to its full potential.

Honestly, this was a great activity first time that my partner and I have beento mystic mountain. Our driver was absolutely the best on the way back to our resort. He took us to Drax Hall to get some beef patties and drinks. He honestly is the best.

My ATV experience

It’s a fun place to explore. I loved ATV experience however guided tour guys needs better communication during ride . I witness two people get hurt by not properly letting riders know to hit brakes during trail ride .
