Fantastic tour - Christina was just the best.

Christina was one of the best tour guides we've ever had. Despite the gale force wind on the island that day, she made this a wonderful experience. She was so knowledgeable, caring and entertaining. Would highly recommend this tour

Response from the operator: Thank you for your fantastic review! We're thrilled Christina made your day so memorable despite the strong Mykonos winds. Her knowledge, care, and great personality truly make her special. Thank you for your wonderful recommendation!

    Great customer service

We couldn’t stop in Mykonos due to gale force winds. I’m giving this 5 stars because communication was great and last-minute cancellation was accommodated with no hassles. Viator customer service is fantastic.

    Take the water taxi instead.

Take the water taxi instead. 1.the lighthouse view just wasn’t worth it. 2. The oldest island has all Restaurants and one bakery and, there just wasn’t enough time to eat or do anything. Also, at the church you have to pay to go in. 3. The beach was beautiful- I could have been there all day so 15min wasn’t enough. 4. Go to Mykonos on your own and spend the day instead. We had to walk 45 mins really for nothing. 5. The windmills are in Mykonos town so it wasn’t really worth having the tour for this either since it was a simple walk. 6. Little Venice is within Mykonos and next to the mills- tour wasn’t worth it at all. 7. I thought we’d get to go in the Church of Paraportiani since it says 20mins and free admission but we have 2 mins to stop and take photos. So we paid for the bus, two free waters and to walk. We did not go in anything. There was also no way to tell who our travel guide was because that information wasn’t given nor was it easy to find the guide outside the terminal because there were no signs.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear the tour did not meet your expectations. Our itinerary is designed to provide an overview of Mykonos' most iconic sights within the limited time available during a cruise stop. The durations at each stop are outlined in the tour description, and some locations, such as Paraportiani Church, are viewed from the outside as access depends on opening hours and religious services. Regarding the meeting point, we send detailed pickup instructions before the tour, including the guide's meeting location and identification. As you were able to join the tour successfully, we believe these instructions helped you locate the guide. We appreciate your comments, as they help us continue improving the experience and ensuring expectations are as clear as possible for future guests.

Mykonos Shore Excursion Half Day Highlights for Cruise Guests: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mykonos.

How much does Mykonos Shore Excursion Half Day Highlights for Cruise Guests cost?

    +

Prices start at $59 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mykonos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Mykonos Shore Excursion Half Day Highlights for Cruise Guests take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mykonos is not rushed.

Is Mykonos Shore Excursion Half Day Highlights for Cruise Guests worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mykonos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Mykonos Shore Excursion Half Day Highlights for Cruise Guests?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Mykonos Shore Excursion Half Day Highlights for Cruise Guests suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Mykonos Shore Excursion Half Day Highlights for Cruise Guests?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mykonos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mykonos and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Mykonos Shore Excursion Half Day Highlights for Cruise Guests start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mykonos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mykonos?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mykonos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tour and Wine Tasting in Mykonian Land, Local Tour with Cruise/Hotel Pick-Up(Small Group or Private), Catamaran Day & Sunset Cruises with meals Drinks and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mykonos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mykonos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
