Matthew made our private tour unforgettable!
My wife and I booked this private tour of Mykonos and couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Matthew. From the moment he picked us up, his warmth and genuine love for the island were obvious. He didn’t just recite facts — he told stories that brought Mykonos to life, from the history of the windmills and Little Venice to what everyday life is like for locals away from the tourist crowds. The beauty of having Matthew all to ourselves was how personal he made everything. He tailored the pace entirely to us, lingered where we wanted to linger, and expertly guided us through the maze of Mykonos Town (we would have been hopelessly lost on our own). He also gave us fantastic recommendations for the rest of our stay — the kind of insider tips you only get from a true local. Matthew was patient, funny, and made the whole experience feel like touring the island with a knowledgeable friend rather than a guide. If you’re considering this tour, book it — and hope you get Matthew. Worth every penny!

Fantastic time exploring Mykonos
Dori was excellent. He is local so he knows the island well. The Jeep was also a good call given the narrow roads on the island. The tour was not rushed and Dori made sure we saw what we wanted to see. He was able to tailor it to our agenda and he even set aside time so we can try local bites ( the honey cake, orange cake and the goat cheese/onion in phyllo was amazing!). He also took us into Tropicana for some beach and party time, which was a fantastic was to wind down before dinner. Lastly, Dori made sure my kids got back safely to the boat after a bar crawl in old town. I’d hire Dori again and would highly recommend him if you are in Mykonos.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 😊 It truly means a lot to us and we are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your time exploring Mykonos with Dori. We always try to create a relaxed and authentic local experience, so it’s amazing to know you enjoyed the hidden spots, local flavors, beach time and the flexibility of the tour ✨ Thank you again for choosing MykonosOnCall and for taking the time to share your experience. We hope to welcome you and your family back to Mykonos again in the future ☀️🚙🇬🇷

Mykonos Private Jeep Renegade Island Tour with Local Guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mykonos.
How much does Mykonos Private Jeep Renegade Island Tour with Local Guide cost?
+
Prices start at $166 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mykonos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mykonos Private Jeep Renegade Island Tour with Local Guide take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mykonos is not rushed.
Is Mykonos Private Jeep Renegade Island Tour with Local Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 50 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mykonos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mykonos Private Jeep Renegade Island Tour with Local Guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mykonos Private Jeep Renegade Island Tour with Local Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mykonos Private Jeep Renegade Island Tour with Local Guide?
+
Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mykonos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mykonos and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mykonos Private Jeep Renegade Island Tour with Local Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mykonos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mykonos?
+
On Outty we rank every Mykonos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tour and Wine Tasting in Mykonian Land, Local Tour with Cruise/Hotel Pick-Up(Small Group or Private), Catamaran Day & Sunset Cruises with meals Drinks and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mykonos?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mykonos?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
