    About this experience

An active food blogger and member of the Mykonos Gastronomic Club, Angelina is passionate about sharing forgotten Greek and Myconian recipes featuring locally produced and seasonal ingredients. During your hands-on cooking lesson Angelina will teach you how to handle filo dough to prepare savory and sweet dishes like feta parcels with honey and sesame (or spanakopita!) and the easiest baklava. She will also show you how to prepare a main dish or salad. As you learn to cook with a small ouzo in hand (indoors or outdoors), Angelina will help you understand Cycladic island gastronomy. Angelina focuses on Mykonian produce and seafood caught off the island's shores. Enjoy, over wine, an authentic home-cooked Greek menu that includes meze, Greek salad, a main dish with vegetable sides and dessert!

    Excellent experience

If you want to experience true Greek hospitality and escape the crowded tourist traps, you absolutely must book this cooking class with Angelina! From the moment we arrived, Angelina welcomed us into her space with open arms, infectious energy, and a warm smile that instantly made us feel like family. Whether you are a seasoned home cook or a complete beginner, Angelina guides you with patience, humor, and brilliant culinary tips that we will definitely be using back home. We used local Mykonian ingredients—from fragrant fresh herbs and olive oil to local cheeses. I recommend Angelina for your next trip to Mykonos!

A Delicious Greek Meal and Conversation!

We had a wonderful experience with Angelina cooking in her well stocked kitchen. She explained all the techniques thoroughly. I love to cook and my husband does not but he tried to make a few things and with her guidance they were great. I love that she followed up by sending us her recipes which I intend to try at home. I feel we had a real authentic Greek experience that was a highlight of our vacation. Nancy

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you and your husband enjoyed cooking with Angelina and that her clear guidance made the experience enjoyable for cooks of all skill levels. We're so glad you appreciated receiving the recipes to recreate the dishes at home and that the experience gave you an authentic taste of Greek culture and hospitality. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're thrilled that it was a highlight of your vacation and hope to welcome you on another Traveling Spoon experience in the future!

Mykonos Home Cooking Class & Traditional Greek Meal with Angelina: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mykonos.

How much does Mykonos Home Cooking Class & Traditional Greek Meal with Angelina cost?

    +

Prices start at $159 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mykonos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Mykonos Home Cooking Class & Traditional Greek Meal with Angelina take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mykonos is not rushed.

Is Mykonos Home Cooking Class & Traditional Greek Meal with Angelina worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 62 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Mykonos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Mykonos Home Cooking Class & Traditional Greek Meal with Angelina?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Mykonos Home Cooking Class & Traditional Greek Meal with Angelina suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Mykonos Home Cooking Class & Traditional Greek Meal with Angelina?

    +

Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mykonos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mykonos and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Mykonos Home Cooking Class & Traditional Greek Meal with Angelina start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mykonos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mykonos?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mykonos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tour and Wine Tasting in Mykonian Land, Local Tour with Cruise/Hotel Pick-Up(Small Group or Private), Catamaran Day & Sunset Cruises with meals Drinks and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mykonos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mykonos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
