What you'll see and do
My Son Sanctuary
This is one of the most convenient way to discover Champa Kingdom history, architecture and its culture. A private tour accompanied with a guide is usually charged expensively while the quality guests received are uncertain. I'm a local guide working permanently at this complex. I do understand everything about the monuments here as well as I own a pretty good command of spoken English. I operate this tour as so many other travel agencies do but charge very reasonably because we only meet you at My Son sanctuary and show you around the complex. We offer you with snacks (banh mi) and coffee or soft drink after the visit at the restaurant near the complex. I also have the driver to pick up guests from their accommodations in Hoi An or Da Nang,... The price we offer cover guiding in the temples and free museum visit, Cham art performance, buggy transfer, private cars,...

Excellent!!
Had a pickup and drop-off at my hotel, good tour and lovely scenery. Small group for the Marble Mountains, the historical site My Son solo, made this an excellent and conveniant day trip.

One of the best spot to visit if you are in Hoi An
We booked this excursion early in the morning because of the heat and I can assure you it's really the best time to go. The light is wonderful and the temperature is manageable. If you go please ask for Hân, his English is awesome and he can speak French as well. He has a lot to share about the history of My Son and Vietnam. He really made this activity unique and I thank him greatly for his professionalism and his friendly attitude, I recommend at 100%, a highlight of my trip.

Nice excursion
The tour was good overall! Car was comfortable and guide was good. I took off one star for the lunch bc it was pretty mediocre and the lieu could be cleaner….

Nice
The guide had a lot of energy and was really interactive, but his pronunciation was really bad, difficult to understand him. Tour was okey, he explained everything we saw. They were puntual for the pick up from hotel. Solid 6.5/10.

Private and personal tour of popular places!
This was a great trip! Everything was smooth and the communication was great. Our guide was personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. It was incredible to hear his perspectives and personal experiences from the war. He answered all our questions, captured great pictures, and accommodated our needs. It is clear that he enjoys what he does and sharing it with people. Thanks for a wonderful day!

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
My Son Sanctuary and Marble Mountains Excursion: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hoi An.
How much does My Son Sanctuary and Marble Mountains Excursion cost?
+
Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hoi An usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does My Son Sanctuary and Marble Mountains Excursion take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hoi An is not rushed.
Is My Son Sanctuary and Marble Mountains Excursion worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hoi An, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule My Son Sanctuary and Marble Mountains Excursion?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is My Son Sanctuary and Marble Mountains Excursion suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book My Son Sanctuary and Marble Mountains Excursion?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hoi An can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hoi An and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does My Son Sanctuary and Marble Mountains Excursion start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hoi An within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hoi An?
+
On Outty we rank every Hoi An experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HOI AN Hidden Gems in Rural Villages & River Islands PRIVATE TOUR, Coconut Jungle Eco & Hoi An City Tour With Boat Ride, Cooking Class Hoi An:Local Market, Basket Boat, Fishing & Cooking. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hoi An?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hoi An?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
