My Son morning
Did the morning tour to My Son in a group of seven with our Hotel pick up.Got there early to avoid the crowds . Hot and humid, but free of others for more space. Our guide Tony was very knowledgeable and provided a calming narrative of the Cham history. The tour ranged from 7.30 to 14.30 completed with a small river cruise back into town . Definitely great value for money . Would recommend.

Incredible experience, rich in historical context with an awesome tour guide!
Andy's tour to My Son was absolutely amazing. The experience was filled with historical and cultural context about the ancient kingdoms that once existed in the region, and we got to venture into and around some of the small temples and structures that were built, all while he happily answered questions and guided us through a very short and sweet 3-4 hour tour. We were done before lunch and had plenty of time to return to Ðà Nẵng to enjoy the rest of our day. He was extremely friendly, made us laugh, and was overall an exciting and thoughtful tour guide with many years of experience and deep knowledge of the history. I'd highly recommend him to anyone who is staying in the central region of Vietnam and would like a nice half day educational tour!

Great Tour for Culture and Time
Andy is an amazing tour guide!! He is very knowledgable, charismatic, and hilarious. Visiting the religious site early in the morning is perfect for beating the crowd and the heat. Even better is that you will get back before noon and have the rest of the day to do other things. Highly recommend this tour with Andy as he makes the experience very enjoyable.

Must Visit
Andy was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable in the history of the My Son temples. We were one of the first ones there so it was empty and peaceful. We were lucky to see a restoration in progress too. I highly recommend foreigners to visit this place of ancient history.

Traveling back in time…
We didn’t end up going super early at sunrise because of the rain (there wouldn’t be a view anyway) but still early enough to miss the large crowd. Trust me, you don’t want to be here when the large tour buses come - the site just won’t feel the same. Ms. Chang is very knowledgeable - she’s a terrific tour guide with a very bubbly personality. I recommend requesting her if you can!

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
MY SON HOLYLAND - EARLY MORNING to Avoid Crowds or Afternoon Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hoi An.
How much does MY SON HOLYLAND - EARLY MORNING to Avoid Crowds or Afternoon Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hoi An usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does MY SON HOLYLAND - EARLY MORNING to Avoid Crowds or Afternoon Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hoi An is not rushed.
Is MY SON HOLYLAND - EARLY MORNING to Avoid Crowds or Afternoon Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hoi An, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule MY SON HOLYLAND - EARLY MORNING to Avoid Crowds or Afternoon Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is MY SON HOLYLAND - EARLY MORNING to Avoid Crowds or Afternoon Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book MY SON HOLYLAND - EARLY MORNING to Avoid Crowds or Afternoon Tour?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hoi An can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hoi An and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does MY SON HOLYLAND - EARLY MORNING to Avoid Crowds or Afternoon Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hoi An within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hoi An?
+
On Outty we rank every Hoi An experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HOI AN Hidden Gems in Rural Villages & River Islands PRIVATE TOUR, Coconut Jungle Eco & Hoi An City Tour With Boat Ride, Cooking Class Hoi An:Local Market, Basket Boat, Fishing & Cooking. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hoi An?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hoi An?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
