Tegernsee
Until the secularization in 1806, the Tegernsee valley was in the firm hands of the Benedictine monks who lived here for over 1,000 years, then the Bavarian king took over the monastery buildings and made them his summer residence. Even today, many celebrities can be found in this wonderful piece of earth; sometimes also in the world-famous 'Bräustüberl' in the historic monastery building, where we recommend a short stop. In addition to Bavarian specialties, Tegernsee beer is also served. The brewery is also located directly on the former monastery grounds and is run by the descendants of the Bavarian kings.

Wonderful day trip
Karl made our on again/off again rainy day trip over to Innsbruck a delight. He picked us up right on time in Munich and entertained us throughout the drive to several beautiful lakes and the Swarovski Crystal stop. He made sure we knew when and where to meet when he left us on our own for awhile, and even though the views from the “Top of Innsbruck” were a bit obstructed by mist, we still had an excellent time! He gave us a brief walk through the oldest part of the town and we even had time to stop at the Olympic ski jump in Garmisch on the drive back to Munich. He made sure to give us time for lunch and a bathroom break on the drive back to town. The van was very comfortable and the trip was customizable (although we preferred to take Karl’s suggestions). Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience!
Our day began with a hotel pickup, by our lederhosen clad guide, Stefan. Stefan stopped at many picturesque areas so we could capture the indescribable beauty of the Bavarian alps and the multiple lakes and villages on the way to and from Innsbruck. The Swarovski crystal museum is stunning and worth the visit. Innsbruck is a gorgeous mountain town with its alpine buildings and stunning mountain views. The day was amazing and Stefan was an incredible host!

+
Prices start at $223 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Munich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

Is MY * GUiDE EXCLUSiVE PANORAMA alpine tour to INNSBRUCK (/ Swarovski) from Munich worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Munich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How far in advance should I book MY * GUiDE EXCLUSiVE PANORAMA alpine tour to INNSBRUCK (/ Swarovski) from Munich?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Munich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Munich and add a light layer if any part of the 9.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does MY * GUiDE EXCLUSiVE PANORAMA alpine tour to INNSBRUCK (/ Swarovski) from Munich start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Munich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Munich?
+
On Outty we rank every Munich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site Tour with Train from Munich, Munich Classic Bike Tour @ 11.30am with Surfers & beergarden stop, Dachau Memorial Half-Day Tour from Munich (Early-Start). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Munich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Munich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
