Everything was great! Our driver was at time for picking us at the airport with a paper with our names and let us keep our luggage in his car. He accompanied us to the entrance and waited for us in the car the time we needed to make the visit to drop us off at our hotel. Very good driving, 100% recommended.

The scariest experience of our lives.
I would give zero for sure. Our guide was a scammer. This was supposed to be No-shopping Private CAR TOUR. He was driving us to places we did not ask, he tried really hard to take us to his preferred shopping places and we kept telling him we want to go to the great wall only. He kept telling me how beautiful I am and this felt very uncomfortable. For two women this was very scary, we did not feel safe at all. After tour he sent me money transfer and asked me to click it and send it back. I did not receive anything and considered this another attempt for scam, did not react and blocked him. He called police on me and they came to my hotel room. The scariest moment in my life and I will never go back to China again. To all trvellers, please stay away from this company. When we told him, we booked through ChinaTour.NET, he did not know this company. The car was filthy disgusting and he did not speak one word English. This is all very shady and not safe for women tourists at all ! Please take a bus tour with good company

In review you mentioned "he did not speak one English word", then how did the he communicate with you in the trip? by wechat translation app? he attempted in wechat asking you to shop? our drivers were trained not allowed to any shop, If our customer found this attempt, our customer would had called us immediately by whatsapp or wechat or telephone.(whatsapp is working in China with foreign mobile phone). All our customers connected with us by wechat or whatsapp before the tour date, if any problem in the tour they will text or call us immediately to solve the problem promptly. If you communicated with driver only via translation app, then misunderstanding may occur, Chinese common say hello to women "美女" translated into English is "Beautiful lady", if customer is not sure what driver text meaning is, customer could forward the driver's text to us by wechat, we can provide better translation. You said the driver sent you money transfer in wechat, and asked you to return the money, which means he wrongly transfered money to you? and you refused to return his money and blocked him in wechat, so he called police in? Scam is crime in China, if he attempted a scam he should be afraid of police, but he called police in which is confusing. you might not trust the driver, but China police is trustful, can you tell the result? driver got his wechat money back and police left? we learned a lot from your story: how important communication is for foreigners travel in China, we will remind all drivers 1.no shop attempt, 2. call us for language help if any problem in the tour, and also remind all customers to call us for help if any problem in the trip, misunderstandings and issued should be solved at beginning, most Chinese are friendly and nice people, don't let misunderstandings cause uncomfortable feelings.

Perfect service on an unforgettable day!
I had the pleasure to have Edward as guide on my side, lifting and introducing me to the Great Wall in Mutianyu during a 9h layover at the Capital airport . Edward shared a lot of historic background around the Great Wall, which was great to learn before going up and witnessing this impressive one of the seven world wonders with my own eyes and feet. I have been there on December 15th in winter time, the landscape was partially covered in snow and the advantage was, that early morning it was almost empty, no queuing, great for photography. A day I will surely never forget, also because of the effortless experience made possible by Edward.

Mutianyu Great Wall No-shopping Private Car Tour
This was a private tour to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall in December 2019. The driver picked me up from my hotel at 9:30an and drove the 76km to this part of the Great Wall. I was traveling alone primarily for work so I had limited time and this suited me really well. The driver got me the tickets for entrance, the shuttle bus and the cable car, then walked with me to show me where to go and where to meet him after 3 hours. Although the driver spoke little English & I spoke no Chinese we got the basics communicated ok and everything went smoothly. The Great Wall was fantastic, I had very good weather and afterwards I met the driver and he took me back to my hotel for around 4pm. Altogether a fantastic trip and for me well worth the extra cost compared to a bus tour or “shopping” tour where a trip to a factory or shop can lead to some high pressure sales. I would thoroughly recommend ChinaTour.Net - the communication was good and the trip was flawless.
