Transportation pass
We were only asked to show our pass once in a week. Used Ubahn, Sbahn, and tram. We also got % off of Nymphenburg Scloss entrance tickets. Very convienient. We got our moneys worth ten fold!

Transportation Group pass
We used the public transportation a lot. I am not sure if the cost for this pass was a savings, but it was very convenient. Buying tickets at kiosks can be confusing. We had the pass on our phone and it made it easy to jump on and off trams, buses, ubahn, and sbahn. The information center at Marienplatz had a map and they helped us with routes.

We were with 8 people incl. kids in Munich and found with Turbopass the cheapest and easiest way to discover the city by public transport. Can only recommend!

Munich card should start on day , time when first used!!!
We had a 5 day Munich card and used it a fair bit . The only reservation I have it started at 00.00 first day and finished at 6 am on the 5 th day . We didn’t arrive until 16.00hrs on the first day so missed many hours and had to buy another ticket on our last day as we left at 10.00 o’clock on the 5th day . Very strange hours of a card to start and finish !!!
