Loved it!
So much fun! Daniel was the best guide to introduce us to Munich and the most delicious food. We loved every minute of it and only wished it was longer. Fork & Walk was very helpful in accommodating our schedule. I highly recommend this to everyone.
Response from the operator: Vielen Dank for the 5-star review! It means a lot to everyone on the team.

Picnic with a local more than a food tour
Food tours are among my favorite things to do when I travel, I've been able to do them all over the world. I enjoy the ability to learn about local culture and dining. When we decided to go to Germany we wanted to do a food tour early so we knew about the why and how and what better place then Munich. Unfortunately for one of the already more expensive tours for what it is this tour falls completely flat. It provide no information of German or Bavarian culture, honestly we spent most of the experience learning about our guide. If you want to call it "have a picnic with someone that lives in Germany" it would be more accurate then what its portrayed to be. It was largely disappointing unfortunately.
Response from the operator: Dear Jessica, we are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your 2-hr food tour at the Market. As there are many market stalls to taste, on nice weathered days we prefer to gather all the goods and have a lovely picnic style feast at the food market in the beer garden. Unfortunately this style has not suited you and we are sorry to hear.

Trip was cancelled
They had to cancel the tour due to the host being sick. I would not have written a review but I have to in order to stop the email reminders I keep getting.
Response from the operator: Sorry to hear that the booking platform keeps sending reminders, especially for a tour that was scheduled for 1 month ago. We'll get in touch with them to see how we can minimize this. Feel free to contact us directly next time, when something is not to your liking.

A wonderful guide and A+ tour
I highly recommend this tour. Kevin was extremely knowledgeable about the city, history, and food/beers. He was very funny and friendly and ensured everyone was satisfied throughout the tour. It felt like a friend walking us through the city!

Great for folks on a tight deadline!
Definitely recommend doing this food tour if you are in a tight deadline in Munich. We were originally booked for the longer Fork and Walk food tour but had to switch to this one last minute. Iain was great as a guide and is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city.

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Munich 2 Hour Food Power Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Munich.
How much does Munich 2 Hour Food Power Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $153 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Munich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Munich 2 Hour Food Power Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Munich is not rushed.
Is Munich 2 Hour Food Power Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Munich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Munich 2 Hour Food Power Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Munich 2 Hour Food Power Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Munich 2 Hour Food Power Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Munich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Munich and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Munich 2 Hour Food Power Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Munich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Munich?
+
On Outty we rank every Munich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site Tour with Train from Munich, Munich Classic Bike Tour @ 11.30am with Surfers & beergarden stop, Dachau Memorial Half-Day Tour from Munich (Early-Start). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Munich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Munich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
