    Great waterfall highlights around Munduk

Booked this very last minute and still got a message on time which got my tour confirmed the following morning. The waterfalls were fantastic, we luckily entered the waterfalls when it wasn't overly crowded which made the experience nicer. The waterfalls do require a bit of downhill and uphill walk. Dio was a great guide who showed up right on time with proactive communication over Whatsapp, took plenty of pictures for us, and shared a lot of local and cultural information. We really appreciated his energy. Highly recommend this day tour if you're around Munduk!

    Excellent Service!

We had a wonderful experience with this private driver company! Our driver, Dio, was extremely kind, friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the whole journey. We really enjoyed the trip and felt very comfortable and well taken care of. We would definitely use their service again and highly recommend them to our friends. Thank you for making our journey so enjoyable! We couldn’t be happier with the experience.

    Great experience!

Nova and Kadek Molik drove us while we were in Munduk. Both of them were great drivers who had wonderful suggestions for the area! They kept us laughing and taught us a bit about Balinese culture during the drives.

    Incredible experience!

Nova and his father Chiko are truly extraordinary people! They accompanied us throughout our trip in Bali and were so much more than just drivers! They gave us so many great recommendations, guided us, took us to incredible places, and we learned sooo much from them along the way. They are incredibly kind, helpful, caring, and always put safety first. We always felt in very good hands with them. Renting a scooter in Munduk turned out to be quite a challenge, especially with the very steep and winding roads, and we absolutely do not regret choosing to have Nova and Chiko with us instead. They made everything so much easier and allowed us to fully enjoy the experience without worrying. We 200% recommend them to anyone visiting Bali! You couldn’t ask for better people to discover the island with. A HUGE thank you again, Nova and Chiko, for everything! We will remember this trip and your kindness for a very long time.

Wonderful day out with an excellent guide.

Our day with Ciko was simply wonderful. He is a superb driver, guide and communicator. He speaks English well which allows for a quick and most enjoyable exchange of ideas, plans, information and humour. We started out the day with an awkward and unexpected change of hotel and Ciko was more than happy to assist with this, making sure our transition was smooth. He then helped plan the day around our respective physical abilities to negotiate waterfalls and took us to Red Coral waterfall which has a path suitable for a mobility walker. We also took a short walk around a rice field. The hghlight of the day for me was the trip to Banyu wana waterfall which was an easy walk initally but at the end we had to take about 90 steep steps, all about 30 cm high. Being in my 70s, I was very glad to have my walking poles with me. The reward was the fantastic swim in the clear springwater, bracingly cold initally but worth the effort, especially swiming right up to the beautiful and powerful falls. We also walked to another magnificent waterfall close by. The pretty and well tended gardens at the bases of the falls were a lovely surprise. It was great to have Ciko's company, and his encouragement for the walk back up which was quite tiring. He kindly carried my daypack for the whole walk espcially as I was determined not to take the lazy option of a motorbike ride! My iphone ran out of battery power and Ciko kindly allowed e to use his iPhone then airdropped the photos later after charging my phone in the car. In short, he looked after both of us extremely well. We thoroughly recommend his services as a driver and guide, and we particularly appreciated his ability to point out trees and shrubs bearing exotic fruits and spices.

Munduk Highlights: North Bali Waterfall Customized Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ubud.

How much does Munduk Highlights: North Bali Waterfall Customized Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ubud usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Munduk Highlights: North Bali Waterfall Customized Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ubud is not rushed.

Is Munduk Highlights: North Bali Waterfall Customized Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 69 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ubud, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Munduk Highlights: North Bali Waterfall Customized Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Munduk Highlights: North Bali Waterfall Customized Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Munduk Highlights: North Bali Waterfall Customized Tour?

    +

Around 24 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ubud can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ubud and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Munduk Highlights: North Bali Waterfall Customized Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ubud within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Ubud?

    +

On Outty we rank every Ubud experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mount Batur Jeep Adventure, Best of Ubud Full-Day Tour with Jungle Swing, Full-Day Tour to Water Temples and UNESCO Rice Terraces in Bali. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ubud?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ubud?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
