Mumbai Day Tour
I am a solo woman traveller, my guides name was - Mr. Rahul Sharma. This man was so calm, lots of patience, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. His facts about history blew my mind, he was easy to talk to and really went the extra mile. Very nice
We had an English speaking guide who organized a taxi for us in advance. As a result, we arrived a little late at the Gate of India, to which he told us a few details. Because the bus arrived a little later, or was already on its way, it showed a few more corners in the area. Then the Hindi speaking guide of the bus can and we started with the boat trip. The view was indeed this, but the refreshment did quite well. The explanations in Hindi have been translated into English. Then followed the drive to the 12D cinema. After a lot of running and waiting, a funny short film of about 5 minutes can. Anyone who hasn't experienced something like this will learn something new here. This was followed by a drive through Mumbai, showing us some buildings. At the next stop we ran to see a Hindu temple from the outside. Afterwards there was a late lunch break where you could choose the restaurant. For the temple on site, we unfortunately did not have time during the break. Afterwards we drove past a few apartments of Bollywood Stars. Juhu Beach was then the last stop for us, where you could walk around again and look at the nightlife. Aadil has always tried to explain things to us. And we could get water from him.
Response from the operator: Dear Sir/Mam, Thank you for sharing your detailed experience with us! We're glad to hear you had an enjoyable time exploring Mumbai, despite the slight delays. It’s great to know that the boat trip, 12D cinema, and the glimpses of Bollywood stars’ apartments were memorable parts of your day. We're also happy that Aadil made sure to keep you informed throughout the tour. We understand that time constraints can sometimes limit visits to certain sites, but we hope you still enjoyed the places you were able to see, like Juhu Beach and the Hindu temple. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to welcoming you on another adventure in the future! Thanks & Regards,

Did not meet expectations..
Our expectations for the private tour were high, but unfortunately, we were left disappointed. We had to request a 50% refund of the fees, which was thankfully granted by the team. Our guide, Mr. Devraj, was more of a driver than a tour guide, which was not accurately described in the tour description. Despite being friendly and flexible, several factors made the tour uncomfortable. Firstly, the vehicle provided for four adults was incredibly small, which made the journey cramped and uncomfortable. The company should have sent a larger vehicle, such as an Ertiga or Innova, that could comfortably seat four passengers and a driver. Secondly, our guide's English was not fluent, as indicated. While he knew some English, I ended up spending most of the tour asking him questions in Hindi and translating for my non-Hindi speaking group members. Lastly, our guide was not adequately trained and lacked passion for the city. Although he knew the city well, I spent most of the tour searching for information on sites we were visiting and sharing it with the group. A local tour guide should be knowledgeable about the city, its history, and be talkative during the tour. Due to these factors, we decided to cut the tour short after three hours and skip the boat ride, despite the driver's suggestions. Although the company did not make the trip worthwhile, they did issue a refund in the end. In my opinion, it would be best to hire a local driver and visit only Gateway of India and Victoria Terminus. The other stops on this tour, including the Gandhi Museum, Dhobi Ghat, and Kamala Nehru Park, are not worth the time and effort.
Response from the operator: First of all you breached the agreement for not writing a review you promised to not write the review after getting compensation. Yes that day our guide fall sick and we told you about that our driver will try to guide you and he showed you each and every spots and tried to satisfy beyong his capicity ,its unfortunate even after that you asked for refund and we provide you back infact this review is for your kind of customer who take advantage of being kind.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Mumbai Full day shore Excursion with Boat ride: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mumbai.
How much does Mumbai Full day shore Excursion with Boat ride cost?
+
Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mumbai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mumbai Full day shore Excursion with Boat ride take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mumbai is not rushed.
Is Mumbai Full day shore Excursion with Boat ride worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mumbai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mumbai Full day shore Excursion with Boat ride?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mumbai Full day shore Excursion with Boat ride suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mumbai Full day shore Excursion with Boat ride?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mumbai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mumbai and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mumbai Full day shore Excursion with Boat ride start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mumbai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mumbai?
+
On Outty we rank every Mumbai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Elephanta Caves & Island Guided Private Tour, Dharavi Slum Tour, Mumbai: Dharavi Slum & Dhobi Ghat Laundry Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mumbai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mumbai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
