not worth it
Honestly - not worth the money. The Studio Tour could be done in 10min since you cannot enter any of them and the Theme Park is a joke - completely run down and 3rd class performances. Almost no info in english as well
Response from the operator: Dear Sir/Mam, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations. We strive to offer something for everyone, and it’s unfortunate that the Studio Tour and Theme Park didn’t provide the value you anticipated. We truly appreciate your comments and will use them to enhance the experience for future guests. If you decide to visit again, we hope your next experience is much more enjoyable! Best Regards,

Worth the experience
Was interesting and fun would have been more meaningfull if we had seen some actors and actresses. Food could have been better and better standard staying at a 5star then having dinner at a normal cheap restaurant was not expected specially when you have paid 13k per person

Don’t go not value for money
What a horrible experience. This is absolutely a waste of time, energy and money... Everything clubbed together. Bollywood park is an aspiration. We came there with such wonder in our thoughts and sparkle in our eyes. However what we met with was a total disaster - unkempt buildings and roads, totally useless sets and terrible shows. The fees at the entrance was not nominal to say the least. It was a decent Rs 1000/- from Book my Show. So you are definitely not undercharging for what you are giving. Shabby Canteen, Shabby and makeshift Bathrooms, mundane sets and horrible shows. The dancers were dancing well, but with the proximity that we were sitting at, we could see the shabbiness of the stage and their loose and over worn clothes. No punch to the programs.. Is this Bollywood?????? Noooooo Kingdom of Dreams was better in Gurgaon, their programs and dancers were better, their stage was better- and all this was in India. We were shown nothing in your guided tour- not even a Vanity Van from inside, to just peep into a world- could be anyone's? All that the your guide could talk about was Tarak Mehta ka ulta Chasma. Is there nothing else to talk about?? The infamous 'mandir' was so extremely dirty and shabby, understandable that people decorate it to their needs, but isn't it the responsibility of the show operator to make it pleasing to the eyes by painting a basic without wash (chuna will also do) to create a sense of awe tourism?? Why can't Bollywood park bring up their standards. Not worth visiting.

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Mumbai Film City and Bollywood Tour with Meal: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mumbai.
How much does Mumbai Film City and Bollywood Tour with Meal cost?
+
Prices start at $154 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mumbai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mumbai Film City and Bollywood Tour with Meal take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mumbai is not rushed.
Is Mumbai Film City and Bollywood Tour with Meal worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mumbai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mumbai Film City and Bollywood Tour with Meal?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mumbai Film City and Bollywood Tour with Meal suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mumbai Film City and Bollywood Tour with Meal?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mumbai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mumbai and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mumbai Film City and Bollywood Tour with Meal start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mumbai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mumbai?
+
On Outty we rank every Mumbai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Elephanta Caves & Island Guided Private Tour, Dharavi Slum Tour, Mumbai: Dharavi Slum & Dhobi Ghat Laundry Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mumbai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mumbai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
