Impressive Service and Amazing Guide in Beautiful Country
South Island 7 day tour was one of those trips that felt like itinerary and more like travelling with someone who genuinely wanted us to have best possible experience. Perfect itinerary, instead of simply visiting usual tourist spot, the trip was designed so that every day felt completely different with different activities. Started with Christchurch punting and evening the Tramway Restaurant, then travel across the Southern Alps on the TranzAlpine train to Greymouth. We experienced the rugged West Coast and Arthur's Pass before arriving at the Stunning Lake Tekapo. In the MT. Cook seeing the mountains from a helicopter and experiencing glacier hike made us feel how spectacular New Zealand's landscapes are. Queenstown is beautiful, so much to do here. Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound are magical and so Glowworm Caves. We came back in Queenstown and ended our trip with relaxing soak at Onsen Hot Pools, which was the perfect way to finish seven incredible days journey. Our guide, he remembered the little things we mentioned during the trip and never made us feel rushed. It felt like we had local friend showing us his favourite part of New Zealand rather than a guide simply completing the a tour. Waimate Journeys impressed us how with how personal their service was. They were responsive before and throughout the trip, and whenever we had a question or wanted to adjust something, they were easy to reach and genuinely helpful. The best part of private tour is not just having a private vehicle, it is having a company and a guide who make you feel the trip is truly yours. That exactly what we experienced. Beautiful Memories Made for Life
We started from Christchurch and went to Kaikoura Whale watching so beautiful little town and amazing experience we had in the sea. We experienced amazing dinner in Christchurch Tramway Restaurant and punting on Avon was lovely. We experience Sky Dive in Franz Josef which was one of the best experience we had during the trip. Lake Tekapo was so beautiful with it's turquoise water and the Good Shepherd Church was very peaceful place near the lake. Mt. Cook has its own beauty and Queenstown is magical. We loved the drive to Milford Sound and Fiordland, and we got a chance to meet lovely and very friendly Kia bird. Hobbiton has its own beauty and you will feel you are in the postcard perfect place. Our trip was more than the places, it was the feeling of freedom, adventure, and being surrounded by such beautiful landscapes that made the journey special. We got so many memories in just 13 days which will treasure in our heart for life. Thank you to Waimate Journeys and our guide who made this possible.

Fall in Love with New Zealand
We covered so much of New Zealand in 9 days and everyday was exciting with amazing experience like in Kaikoura Swimming with Dolphins, Horse trekking at Lake Tekapo, Helicopter ride in Mount Cook and Hooker Valley Trek, Dinner at Skyline with incredible views. So many incredible experience was included in this tour. The beauty of Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound was just unreal. You have to have experience it to understand. It was most beautiful and incredible experience of my life. Our guide was a big part of what made the trip so enjoyable. He was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful throughout. We always felt safe and comfortable, and he was there whenever we needed help of advice. He really went the extra mile to make sure we had a great experience. For anyone planning a New Zealand trip, definitely consider a private custom tour from Waimate Journeys. Great Value
Our 13 days in New Zealand were filled with so many special moments that it's hard to pick a favourite. We experienced everything from Milford Sound to Hobbiton. Hobbiton was unreal, so beautiful and well maintained. Tramway restaurant in Christchurch was amazing dinner experience we have had since a while. Jet boating and Gondola was amazing experience while hot pool was very relaxing. Helicopter ride at Mt. Cook was magical including glacier landing. Very well planned itinerary to add a relaxing day in between so we never felt rushed. Our guide was easy to travel with and always made sure everything was taken care of. There was far more included than we expected, making the trip great value overall. I will happily recommend this tour to anyone.

So Glad We Chose This Tour
We spent 14 days travelling through New Zealand starting from Christchurch and finishing in Auckland, and honestly the time flew by. Some days were packed with adrenaline like black water rafting, jet boating, helicopter ride and other days were slower and all about scenery especially Marlborough Sound, Milford Sound, night walk through redwoods etc. The best part was not having to worry about the logistics, everything flowed naturally from one place to the next, and our guide always seemed to know the right place to stop, weather it was for a view, a photo or something good to eat. A tip for anyone booking this tour, don't try to cut out activities, some of our favorite memories came from experiences we almost skipped. This tour helped us to make the most of every minute.
