The Mutianyu Great Wall is definitely worth visiting. The scenery is absolutely spectacular. If you’re traveling from Beijing, I highly recommend taking the Mubus. It takes about 1.5 hours to get to Mutianyu, and the price is very reasonable. The fare includes both the bus ride from Beijing to Mutianyu and the shuttle bus at the scenic area, with no hidden or extra charges. The tour also includes a guide who explains the history and gives very detailed information about the best routes to take, where the restrooms are, the best spots for photos, and how long each route will take. The guide can also help you purchase entrance tickets and cable car tickets directly, which makes everything very convenient. Our guide, Jessica, was extremely friendly and helpful. She explained everything very clearly, and you can contact her anytime if you have any questions. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend it!

Great experience overall ! Easy pick up location and good to explore the Great Wall at our own pace. I recommend doing only one of the either green or the red part of the wall (both will make you very tired). our guide, John was also great!

Amazing Great wall experience
Sunny weather with superb visibility made our Mutianyu Great Wall visit wonderful. The Great Wall itself is spectacular, and General Platform is incredibly majestic. Walking all of the open sections will test your physical strength. Our guide John offered detailed introductions covering Great‑Wall history of multiple dynasties. He helped get our cable‑car and slideway tickets directly on the bus. Mubus has a cosy waiting lounge. Free bottled water for each person, several kinds of tea, fruits and snacks are provided. You can also get coffee at a discounted price as a tour guest. Every service detail was handled thoughtfully, and we enjoyed this trip very much.
