This trip was really...

This trip was really great. Ryu is not only a great guide but a wonderful and heartfelt person. We enjoyed every single second of the day. He firstly brought us on the 5th station on mount Fuji where we had a brilliant view. Throughout the day he told us interesting insights about the country, the people and the countryside. Could not wish a better person to go for this tour. All the best and thx to Ryu from the shole family.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for such a kind and thoughtful review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you and your whole family enjoyed every second of your tour to Mt. Fuji, from the spectacular views at the 5th Station to the insights shared along the way. It means the world to us to know that you felt so well taken care of. Creating memorable, heartfelt experiences for families is always our top goal. We truly appreciate you choosing us for your adventure, and we wish you and your family all the very best!

Amazing day around Mt. Fuji with Ryu

Ryu was an excellent tour guide. He was super prompt, picked us up right in front of our hotel, hit all the best spots and showed us a wonderful time. The tour itself was great as we visited a shrine, temple, several lakes, and had a delicious lunch. There were great snack locations and we saw a beautiful flower garden. Ryu had the best recommendations for each location and told us where to take the best pictures! He even took photos of our family. We had a great day and would love to tour with Ryu again!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that your family had a fantastic experience exploring the shrines, temples, scenic lakes, and flower gardens. It is always our goal to show our guests the best spots, incredible food, and hidden gems along the way. Knowing that you enjoyed the local recommendations, delicious snacks, and photo moments throughout the day means the world to our team. We truly appreciate your kind words and would love to welcome you and your family back for another memorable journey the next time you visit Japan! Safe travels!

Great tour guide

Our guide was Ryu, who is fluent in both Japanese and English, he is a very informative, knowledgeable, and prompt guide. Ryu made great suggestions that enhanced and made our trip more enjoyable. For example while visiting 5th station at Mt Fuji he recommended trying the melon cake which was one of the best things we’ve had the entire trip. He was a great conversationalist and we really enjoyed all the stories he told. Great Trip Highly Recommended

Response from the operator: We are thrilled to hear that your trip to Mt. Fuji was so memorable and well-guided. Sharing local insights, culture, and stories is always our top priority, and we are delighted that you enjoyed the "melon pan" recommendation at the 5th Station—it really is a special treat! Your kind words and recommendation mean the world to our entire team. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you back to Japan for another wonderful journey in the future!

Mt Fuji Private Tour from Tokyo, Licensed (Customizable): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tokyo.

How much does Mt Fuji Private Tour from Tokyo, Licensed (Customizable) cost?

+

Prices start at $410 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tokyo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Mt Fuji Private Tour from Tokyo, Licensed (Customizable) take?

+

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tokyo is not rushed.

Is Mt Fuji Private Tour from Tokyo, Licensed (Customizable) worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 84 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 82 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tokyo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Mt Fuji Private Tour from Tokyo, Licensed (Customizable)?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Mt Fuji Private Tour from Tokyo, Licensed (Customizable) suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Mt Fuji Private Tour from Tokyo, Licensed (Customizable)?

+

Around 29 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tokyo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tokyo and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Mt Fuji Private Tour from Tokyo, Licensed (Customizable) start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tokyo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tokyo?

+

Tokyo is less a city than a stack of neighborhoods with completely different opening hours. A guided food crawl through Shinjuku's Omoide Yokocho gets you past the no-tourist curtains, while the day trips west to Hakone and Fuji need an early start to be worth the fare. Our ranking weighs guide quality heavily here, because in Tokyo the guide is the product. On Outty we rank every Tokyo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tokyo Shinjuku Chopsticks Making Class, Tokyo : Asakusa Chopsticks Making Class, Shinjuku Night Food and Bar Crawl. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tokyo?

+

Late March to May for blossom, October to November for clear Fuji views. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tokyo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
