Couldn’t have done it without him
Mukarram is an amazing guide. Not only is he knowledgeable, but also very personable flexible and basically became a family member. He interacted with the kids and explained what we were seeing and answered all the questions that my kids have. He also pointed out a number of great eating places for us as we are Muslim. He had indeed knowledge and dropped us off for dinner by going out of his way. He also picked us up from the airport, which was super convenient with all our luggage and then was ready punctually in the morning to take us to Mount Fuji and show us around other sites.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the wonderful review! Hosting your lovely family was an absolute pleasure for me, and I’m thrilled that the kids enjoyed asking questions and learning during the Mt. Fuji & Hakone tour. I’m also so glad that the airport pickup, dinner drop-offs, and halal food recommendations helped make your trip convenient and stress-free. You truly felt like family to me. I hope you’ll come back to Japan again someday, and I would be delighted to have the opportunity to guide you and your family on another memorable tour. 😊

Excellent guide
I can't recommend Murrakam enough! He is an excellent guide and person—not only was the trip lovely, but he saved my sister's vacation. She lost her wallet and he went above and beyond to help get it to back to her. This kindness and care is as important as the beautiful scenery and lovely blueberry ice cream along the way. Rest assured you are in safe and capable hands!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words! It means a lot to hear that you had such a wonderful experience with me. I’m so glad I was able to help your sister get her wallet back and save her vacation. I always want to make sure my guests feel completely safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their journey. And of course, the beautiful scenery and blueberry ice cream were the perfect bonuses! 😊

Great Tour Operator in Tokyo Fuji Japan
We had the best experience with Mukarram, who showed us around Mt. Fuji and Hakone. We travelled with our family, and everyone absolutely loved hearing Mukarram's stories about Japan, its culture, and its people. Mukarram was a safe driver, very knowledgeable, and incredibly funny. His stories kept us entertained throughout the day! He took us to some of the best spots and seemed to know all the local hidden gems. The highlight of our trip was seeing Mt. Fuji from a speedboat, which Mukarram organised especially for us. We also had the amazing opportunity to see an active volcano in Hakone. It was truly the best trip ever, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. We highly recommend Mukarram to anyone visiting Japan!
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your wonderful review and for choosing Mount fuji and Hakone tour. My objective is always to deliver each tour in a way that creates memorable moments that last a lifetime, Knowing that you had the best experience is the greatest reward for me. I sincerely appreciate your kind words.

Mt Fuji tour
Our experience with Mukarram as a guide was wonderful; we were able to enjoy a full day of excursion in which we could see some sulfur mountains, we saw a traditional village from which you could see Mount Fuji, we ate a wonderful meal in a traditional place that was one of the best experiences of our trip to Japan, and we saw splendid landscapes. Mukarram was a great help as a guide and driver, taking us around, explaining everything necessary, and showing us hidden and little-known but beautiful places. 100% recommended.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! I’m delighted to hear that you had a great experience on the Mt. Fuji and Hakone Private Tour, enjoying the beautiful sights and lunch along the way. It was a pleasure showing you around, and I sincerely appreciate your feedback. I hope to welcome you back to Japan soon!

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Mt. Fuji and Hakone Private Tour with Luxury Vehicle: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ginza.
How much does Mt. Fuji and Hakone Private Tour with Luxury Vehicle cost?
+
Prices start at $450 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ginza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mt. Fuji and Hakone Private Tour with Luxury Vehicle take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ginza is not rushed.
Is Mt. Fuji and Hakone Private Tour with Luxury Vehicle worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ginza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mt. Fuji and Hakone Private Tour with Luxury Vehicle?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mt. Fuji and Hakone Private Tour with Luxury Vehicle suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mt. Fuji and Hakone Private Tour with Luxury Vehicle?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ginza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ginza and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mt. Fuji and Hakone Private Tour with Luxury Vehicle start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ginza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ginza?
+
On Outty we rank every Ginza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 1-Day Tokyo Bus Tour, Mt Fuji and Hakone 1-Day Bus Tour Return by Bullet Train, Tokyo Ginza Chopstick Making Workshop. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ginza?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ginza?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
