About this experience
Step back into the Pop-Culture past and walk along iconic streets and dirty back alleys of Miami Beach as we explore the vibrant and historic locations that brought the big screen to life. Miami Vice caused the "Vice Effect" which placed the forgotten city on a global map. I have made it my mission to bring these stories to life through passion, extensive research, storytelling, and visual aids. Guided tour includes a portable screen to watch scenes from the show right where they were filmed, allowing us to visually travel back in time. You'll gain insider knowledge on movie & TV creation, experience the buildings, street corners, and interior spaces which were used as filming locations, and discover fascinating nuggets about the checkered history of the 1980s Miami. Every stop is a scene, every building a backdrop, every lobby a close-up, and every detail a story waiting to be told.

10/10
Great tour. Damien is an amazing tour guide. Locations just came alive in front of us. Lots of interesting info, insights, pictures and a good sense of humor. I extremely recommend him.
Response from the operator: South Beach is a design playground in pastel disguise. Happy you came along for the pop-culture experience.

Cinematic
It’s smart, funny, cinematic, and surprisingly immersive. You leave feeling like you’ve been let in on a secret. Miami was ready for its close-up all along.
Response from the operator: It's exactly the feeling I aim to create. Miami has always had layers, drama, and cinematic flair - all hiding in plain sight. I’m here to pull back the curtain. So glad you felt immersed in it.

Unforgettable Tour!
We had another fantastic experience with Miami Deco Tours on their movie and TV show walking tour in the Art Deco District. This was our second tour with Damian. We did the Art Deco walking tour last year and enjoyed it so much that we came back this time for the special TV and movie tour. Once again, it exceeded our expectations. One of our favorite parts was being able to watch scenes from shows and movies we love on a screen and then stand in front of the exact same buildings and locations in real life. It made the history and stories feel even more real and memorable. Damian is a superb host with an incredible depth of knowledge about the buildings on Ocean Drive and the history of Miami Beach. He’s friendly, engaging, and genuinely passionate about what he does, which really makes the tour special. It was such a great experience to share with my dad, and we truly appreciate Damian’s dedication to preserving and celebrating this unique slice of Miami. Highly recommended, and we would absolutely do another tour with him again.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for coming back, it truly means a lot. There’s no better compliment than someone choosing to return for a second walk through Miami Beach’s layers. The city always reveals something new, and I’m glad we got to explore it again together. Hope to see you back for round three!

From Screen to Street
A truly one-of-a-kind experience. We watched scenes from Miami Vice and other Hollywood films right at the exact spots where they were shot. The highlight was an unexpected treat — a fan-created Miami Vice museum featuring authentic props from the show, from neon signs to the very guns used by Don Johnson. Damian curated the entire experience perfectly.
Response from the operator: Thanks for taking the time to share this. I’m glad you had a good time out there.

Worth every penny - do it!!
Damian's Art Deco tour was fascinating and very worth it! He is incredibly knowledgeable and shares many historical details which help you appreciate Miami Beach architecture and design so much more. The walk is easy but bring sunscreen and water! It gets hot toward noon!
Response from the operator: I’m glad the tour gave you something memorable to take home.

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Movies & TV Filming Locations Private Group Walking Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Miami.
How much does Movies & TV Filming Locations Private Group Walking Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $350 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Miami usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Movies & TV Filming Locations Private Group Walking Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Miami is not rushed.
Is Movies & TV Filming Locations Private Group Walking Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Miami, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Movies & TV Filming Locations Private Group Walking Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Movies & TV Filming Locations Private Group Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Movies & TV Filming Locations Private Group Walking Tour?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Miami can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Miami and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Movies & TV Filming Locations Private Group Walking Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Miami within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Miami?
+
Miami splits between the water and the neighbourhoods. Biscayne Bay boat tours, Key Biscayne snorkelling and Everglades airboats cover the first, while Wynwood mural walks, Little Havana food crawls and South Beach deco tours cover the second. We rank Everglades operators carefully: many depart from Miami but the good ones run their own boats rather than reselling seats. On Outty we rank every Miami experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 hrs Miami Private Boat with Cooler, Ice, Bluetooth Stereo, Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami, Miami: 2 Hour Private Yacht Cruise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Miami?
+
November to April, dry season, before hurricane and humidity months. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Miami?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
