Incredible experience of a lifetime
We booked this not knowing what to expect, but were entirely blown away by the experience of a lifetime. Jor is the best, most experienced guide ever and he picked us up from Yeveran and drove us to the meeting point, where David took over and drove us up the mountain in a Soviet era SUV. At the top were his family waiting for us with the most amazing BBQ, cocktails, local appetizers, dessert spread. We will be raving about this for many years to come.
Response from the operator: Dear Guest! Thank you so much for your wonderful words! We’re thrilled to hear you had such a memorable experience and will be sure to share your kind feedback with Jor, David, and the family. We hope to welcome you back to Armenia again soon!

Authentic and Unique experiences
I have fallen in love with Armenia! The heritage, culture, people and food! ♥️. If you are looking for an authentic and unique experience 2492 is the BEST! It was incredible! It was a 4 days tour I booked fully with 2492 and there was never a disappointment! A trip I will never forget. Armenia is definitely on my top 5 countries. The professional team that took care of me were TOP class and really showed honesty and love in what they do . Marine was amazing and a true friend to have from Armenia. Arman (the main driver we had) was super friendly too. I went during fall , early November and the country was just so beautiful. Too many photos, it is hard to pick just 3/4 to share. What I also love about 2492 is that they give back to the local community. You can read more about their ONEArmenia project on their website. Thank you guys for this unforgettable experience.

Unforgettable Adventure
I did the Mountaintop Eats with 2492 Travel which was an incredibly captivating experience that left a lasting impression. Apart from breathtaking views from the mountain Yeranos, the food was absolutely delicious with the variety of vegetarian options. The ride on vintage Soviet UAZ vehicles to the mountaintop might be quite challenging for those who are not used to off-road driving, but a remarkable dinner atop the mountain is so worth it. The unique combination of the challenging ride and the ultimate culinary indulgence rendered the experience truly priceless.

The Best Experience and the Most Amazing Food
The entire experience was utterly amazing. The guide and driver were so fun, and we had a great time on the excursion. Taking the long trip up was certainly adventurous and bumpy, but the views were amazing. Once we arrived at the top, we were greeted by amazing cocktails and cheese, which were all homemade. The views from the top were indescribable and the food prepared was nothing short of amazing. The grilled okra is hands down one of the best foods I've eaten. This trip was worth every penny, and we can't wait to do it again. Every second with the guide was great, and he was super helpful and made our experience one-of-a-kind. It was just myself and my fiancé, and we couldn't eat all the food. So, I would recommend going with a larger group, but it was fantastic. I cannot recommend this food adventure enough.

Nature at its best
Of course the highlight was arriving at the top of Mt. Yeranos and being greeted with a beautiful table set up with appetizers and our chef proceeded to make us a delicious cocktail. But the whole trip was amazing: all the details taken care of, including having very experienced local drivers, dinner table delicately set up, delicious food made with ingredients from the local chef's garden, and everything was on time. A bonus was knowing the whole family worked to make this trip possible for us thus providing income to the locals. Just a great day!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much! We were thrilled to arrange such an experience for you! You are always welcome back!

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Mountaintop Eats: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Yerevan.
How much does Mountaintop Eats cost?
+
Prices start at $373 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Yerevan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mountaintop Eats take?
+
Plan for about 5.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Yerevan is not rushed.
Is Mountaintop Eats worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Yerevan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mountaintop Eats?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Mountaintop Eats suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mountaintop Eats?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Yerevan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Yerevan and add a light layer if any part of the 5.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mountaintop Eats start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Yerevan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Yerevan?
+
On Outty we rank every Yerevan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Group Tour: Lake Sevan (Sevanavank), Dilijan (Goshavank, Haghartsin), Group Tour: Khor Virap, Garni temple, Geghard, Lavash baking, Group Tour: Garni pagan temple, Geghard monastery, Lake Sevan, Sevanavank. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Yerevan?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Yerevan?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Mountaintop Eats?
+
Included: Private transportation; Bottled water; Alcoholic beverages; Snacks; and All Fees and Taxes. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does Mountaintop Eats include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 136 listed pickup locations in and around Yerevan. Be ready about 15 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.
What languages is Mountaintop Eats offered in?
+
It is offered in Russian, English and French. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Mountaintop Eats?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
Is Mountaintop Eats wheelchair or stroller accessible?
+
The operator notes: Not recommended for pregnant travelers. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
What happens to Mountaintop Eats if the weather is bad?
+
This experience depends on good weather. If it is canceled because of poor weather, you are offered a different date or a full refund.
What do travelers say about Mountaintop Eats?
+
Across 9 reviews averaging 5.0 out of 5, recurring themes include the guide, food and drink, photo opportunities. Travelers single out the guide as the reason the experience works.
