Could not believe that I...
Could not believe that I wasn't dropped off at my pick up point as promised. Dumped in the square with no directions back to my hotel 9 blocks away
Response from the operator: Hi Dave, thank you for your feedback, and we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience. We’d like to clarify that on our Humantay Lake tour, we do provide hotel pick-up (within the tourist area). However, due to logistics and traffic conditions on the way back to Cusco, the tour ends in the city center, specifically at Plaza Regocijo, to avoid delays and access issues on narrow streets. That said, we completely understand your frustration. The key point is that this should be communicated clearly in advance and our staff should always provide clear guidance on how to get back to your hotel safely and easily. We’re sorry that you weren’t given directions. We will review this case internally, strengthen our pre-tour communication, and reinforce our team’s procedures so every guest receives proper assistance at drop-off. Thank you again for helping us improve.

Family travelling Peru
Thank you so much Jisa Adventure for helping organizing all those tours. Everything worked out perfectly!!! Especially Manuel was a great guide. Travelling with many kids and getting the right amount of culture and experiences is sometimes not easy. Manuel managed every situation and needs of the kids to everybody's happiness. A special thanks to the driver too. He did great job. Wonderful experience for all of us

The tour went very well and the mountain was so beautiful! I lives in an apartment in Cusco at the time and the tour guide was gracious enough to come and pick me up right from my house!

Best tour guides
Jhonny and jimmy were the absolute best tour guides I’ve had on the entire trip. They were so attentive, friendly and informative! They took the time and patience to make sure we were all okay hiking up the mountain and walked along side of us the entire tour.

JISA FOR THE WIN. Highly recommend
Wonderful trip with Team Jisa. Our guide Johnny Wakler was amazing, our second trip with him through Jisa. Trip departed Cusco at 4am but that allowed us to beat the crowds once ascended. Johnny always takes the time to explain every phase of the trip and the meaning/history of each stop. Breakfast and lunch provided in Cusipata, a great buffet. All equipment provided for the hike if needed and arranged transportation to the top by locals via horse or motorbike. Ramon our driver was fantastic, quick and safe! If you've ever experienced driving in Peru you'll understand. Can be madness

Why this scores 87
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Mountain Vinicunca Mountain 7 Colors Cusco: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does Mountain Vinicunca Mountain 7 Colors Cusco cost?
+
Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mountain Vinicunca Mountain 7 Colors Cusco take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is Mountain Vinicunca Mountain 7 Colors Cusco worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 87 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 224 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mountain Vinicunca Mountain 7 Colors Cusco?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mountain Vinicunca Mountain 7 Colors Cusco suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 12-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Mountain Vinicunca Mountain 7 Colors Cusco?
+
Around 78 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mountain Vinicunca Mountain 7 Colors Cusco start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
