Owakudani is a volcanic valley formed approximately 3,000 years ago and is recognized as a geological wonder. It has become a popular sightseeing destination, allowing visitors to witness continuous volcanic activity up close. Hakone Ropeway
The Hakone Ropeway is a main form of transportation in the Hakone area. The ropeway will pass through Owakudani, offering panoramic views of the volcanic landscape. Lovely experience.
Very nice tour! Well organized, you will see some of the beautiful places of Japan near Mount Fuji including a small cruise with a fun pirate ship on the lake, breathtaking views, local food, traditional village and the guide Kathy is very friendly and you can feel that she loves what she does! Strongly recommended!

Mt. Fuji and Hakone Tour
It was our first time visiting Hakone, Owakudani, Oshino Hakkai, and Arakurayama Sengen Park. The tour was well planned and tightly organized. An, our tour guide, was great at giving an overview of each place and recommend what to do/see/eat/buy. Even with some unforseen traffic preventing the bus from picking up at the top station of the Hakone Ropeway, An quickly reorganized and got everyone to the bus efficiently. Bus itself was clean and with AC, which is a must during the summer. Overall, it was a great experience, especially if you want to visit the highlights, go to a good viewpoint for Mt. Fuji, and don't want to worry about itinerary and transportation.
