Our best ride ever.

We have done lots of bike rides in Bali over the years. This was our favourite as it was mainly about the riding. Our guide was amazing and very safety conscious. Pick Up and drop off was easy. Lunch after was delicious. Definitely recommend this company.

Great day in the mountains north of Ubud

Had a fantastic day with IMB on a 65km tour in the north of Ubud. Excellent equipment, 2022 bike models. The escort vehicle was picking us up a few times to cover longer up-hill stretches. Our guide Gozeng was the most helpful, cheerful guide you could possibly ask for! Thanks!

Highlight of our Bali experience

The downhill ride from Mt Batur to Ubud was the best way to discover the beauty and culture of Bali. Riding thru farmland villages and seeing how the locals live. Stopped for coffee at a plantation. Saw temples. Had lunch at a roadside Warung. Finished up near the monkey sanctuary. I can’t stop raving about it!!

Amazing experience!

Well impressed with this company. Top of the line bikes all well serviced. Great way to get away from tourists and to see the real Bali. The ride was all down hill, which was good as we had our toddlers and 70 yr old dad with us. Great way to see the country, and experience something different. Well recommended!

The best way to see the Balinese countryside

We had an excellent day out with Infinity and I'd highly recommend them to anyone considering such an activity in Bali. our driver was in reception when we got there at the agreed time, we had a smooth journey up past Ubud to the start of our ride, stopping briefly at the very top of the hill for some photos and a bathroom break. The ride kicked off at a central point which seems to be used by a number of tour companies before taking various routes down the countryside back towards Ubud. Our guide controlled the pace well given our group (4 people in total, of which 2 had very little MTB experience) - waiting patiently along the way and showing good spots to stop and take photos. The mid ride snacks were great, and the lunch at a local Warung was excellent (and in a place that we'd not normally stop at as a tourist). the end of the ride coming through central Ubud was a little daunting for some of our riders given the heavy traffic but overall we had a great day out. As a regular rider myself I was really happy with the quality of the rental equipment, we had no mechanical issues all day and the bikes were awesome. I'm looking forward to our next trip and hoping to tackle some of the longer & more difficult rides. i was also impressed at how regular we met up with the support van, i was expecting to be dropped at the top, meet for lunch, and then a pickup at the bottom, but quite regularly I'd look over my shoulder to see our van seemingly pacing us along pretty much the whole route - which was great for not having to lug backpacks or other equipment you'd normally associate with a self-supported ride.

Mount Batur to Ubud – Soft Adventure Cycling: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seminyak.

How much does Mount Batur to Ubud – Soft Adventure Cycling cost?

+

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seminyak usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Mount Batur to Ubud – Soft Adventure Cycling take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seminyak is not rushed.

Is Mount Batur to Ubud – Soft Adventure Cycling worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seminyak, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Mount Batur to Ubud – Soft Adventure Cycling?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Mount Batur to Ubud – Soft Adventure Cycling suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Mount Batur to Ubud – Soft Adventure Cycling?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seminyak can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seminyak and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Mount Batur to Ubud – Soft Adventure Cycling start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seminyak within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seminyak?

+

On Outty we rank every Seminyak experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Bali Waterfalls: Tibumana, Tukad Cepung and Tegenungan, Bali Instagram Tour: The Most Scenic Spots, Ubud Hot Springs and Waterfall Private Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seminyak?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seminyak?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
