    Difficult but beautiful

A wonderful night experience, nevertheless very very tiring! The ascent to the summit is very difficult, I even thought for a moment that I would not succeed, but with the help of our kind guide I managed it. Arriving at the top the landscape is breathtaking at sunrise, and were allowed to visit a colony of monkeys who do not hesitate to come and steal your food or your water bottles. Total 12 km Departure at 3am , arrival at the summit at 6am then the descent about 1:30am! Beautiful moment

Response from the operator: Merci beaucoup pour votre retour Sylvia !

    Majestic

Just beautiful, an unforgettable experience. A fabulous sunrise behind Mount Agung. Attention the climb is deserved but the view is exceptional. Thank you Pierrick for this wonderful adventure.

Response from the operator: Gunung Batur, a Balinese volcano, is surprising despite its "low height" (1700m). It requires effort to be able to enjoy the breathtaking sunrise at the top. Thank you for your constant trust and for these useful and appreciated comments. We are forever grateful for your kindness and your very nice participations in our volcanic activities and more.

    Bromo, ijen and Batur

We started our trip from Surabaya to Bromo , we were picked up at the hotel a very friendly driver , took us to the Inn Good karma journey of three hours approx , Inn quite simple and the food you get really simple and typical of the area this had already been warned in advance in the emails before the reservation; its advantage is that it is super close to the volcano Bromo so it is not time to get up very early. Two days earlier I had received the mail from ijen was closed however it was time to wait for further notice. The tracking to Bromo was very good, the guides super great. At that time we had been told that Ijen was still closed so we went to Madakaripura. We were told to continue with them to the fence to ijen just in case they opened, the trip was quite long but dinner and lodging was great for such a long trip. We were greeted with a very delicious super breakfast and from there we were returned to Subarya it was almost all day, although it was a very nice experience to know more about the villages and their traditional food that was delicious, the return journey was long in which we could not go to Ijen and suddenly we would have saved that to take advantage of that day. The company as compensation gave us a different trio, in this case since we were already in Bali we went Mount Batur, to the hot springs and Tirta Empul temple, as always the very friendly driver and Guide a love of person. No complaint in that are lovely people and tracking was spectacular too

Response from the operator: Thank you for your very kind comment. During the uncertain times of volcano alerts, it is important to have a flexible and positive mind. Travelers are aware of the difficulties of adapting to the uncontrollable conditions of volcanoes when tourists cannot accept the aleas of times and adventures. The whole team appreciated your great sense of travel and your kindness with each and every guide, follower and driver. We are proud to have been part of your pleasure and grateful for your trust. We hope to see you again soon for more adventures and excursions to show you even more fabulous sites.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
