To see the sunrise and amazing vistas from Mt Batur was the one thing everyone we met told us we should do . It was worth it ! Despite the very early start , despite the rather more challenging hike that I was expecting and realising my fitness levels were no where as good as o thought . The guide up the mountain was so supportive and encouraging we made it up and down safely . One hint here : do wear footwear dor hiking - I proved that trainers aren’t good enough ! It’s a steep 2 hour climb in the dark but you are given a head torch and a walking stick - both necessities . The walk down in daylight is faster and easier Then our driver took us to the coffee plantation which is amazing to see growing there . It’s set up as a show and sell and they work subtly to ensue you buy something there ! The driver then took us to two spectacular waterfalls . With my legs still aching from the mountain climb and still with the wrong footwear the driver stayed with us and was so helpful - even jumping the instagram line to take some stunning pictures for me All in all a good but exhausting day and a lot of good memories made z

Incredible sunrise hike with breathtaking waterfall and tasty coffee to end the morning

Incredible sunrise hike with guide trekking at my pace. He went above and beyond with photography and recommended routes to avoid crowds. (The less visited crater loop trail was one of my highlights!) Driver, Nawe, was always on time and available the moment the activities ended. He happily recommended several waterfall options for the tour! Incredible staff all around and I will recommend this tour in the future!

Highly recommended!

Putu looked after us and got us to the to the top safely. It was an amazing experience. Our driver was also excellent and took us to 3 spots on the way home.

Waterfall paradise

We had bad weather conditions, so we haven‘t seen much of the sunrise. But the hike was fun and the waterfall was stunning in the morning, because there haven’t been many other people.
