Street food in Hanoi is more than flavor, it’s the soul of the city. Family recipes passed down for generations, plastic stools on busy corners, charcoal smoke curling into the night, and rituals that make every bite an experience. A bowl of phở is history in broth. A bánh mì is colonial meets Vietnamese spirit. On our Honda motorbike food tours, you don’t just eat – you connect. Local riders grew up on these very streets; they’ll share where their grandmother bought herbs, which stall has lasted since 1995, and why a bowl of chè can taste like childhood. Choose Morning Bites to savor phở, bánh mì, and breakfast as the city wakes, or Night Cravings for smoky BBQ, late snacks, and neon-lit alleys. You’ll explore bustling markets, hidden corners, and landmarks like Hoan Kiem Lake and Long Bien Bridge. • Duration: 3 hrs (morning) / 4 hrs (evening) • Old Quarter hotel pick-up/drop-off included • English-speaking guides & bottled water • Traditional Vietnamese meals included

One of the best tours we’ve done in Hanoi’s Old Quarter!

One of the best tours we’ve done in Hanoi’s Old Quarter! Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and had a great sense of humor, making the entire experience both fun and informative. We enjoyed an amazing street food tour, tasting authentic local dishes while learning about Hanoi’s food culture. One of the highlights was visiting a local coffee roastery, where we got to see the roasting process firsthand and enjoy a guided coffee tasting. Everything was well organized, authentic, and thoughtfully planned. If you’re looking for a tour that combines delicious food, local culture, and excellent storytelling, I highly recommend this experience. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Hanoi!

Incredible Food Tour with Trung throughout Hanoi!

WONDERFUL food tour en moto throughout Hanoi! My guide Trung was SO much fun, incredibly knowledgeable, and so kind. I enjoyed spending time with him as much as I enjoyed all of the incredible food he introduced me to! Every stop on this tour was delicious, and I loved how he took me off the beaten path several times, stopping at incredible little eateries that I probably would have walked right by if I hadn't had Trung as my guide. Food tours are one of the best ways to get to know the heart of the city - if you're in Hanoi I *highly* recommend going on this one!

We really loved the experience.

The tour also gives you a great look into both the cultural and more developed sides of the city, with stops along the way where you can explore and shop at local spots. This is one of the tours I usually recommend to visitors. From start to finish, they take very good care of you, bring you to delicious local food places, and even offer vegetarian options if needed. We really loved the experience.

We were very impressed, and my whole family loved the experience. Highly recommend joining this tour if you’re visiting

I happened to come across this small coffee spot at Treelings Coffee Home, where someone recommended their motorbike tour. My family and I were really interested in booking it. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate at first, so we decided to move the date until after we returned from our Sapa trip. We ended up joining their food tour, and I would highly recommend it. The food they introduced us to was absolutely delicious, and they took us to different hidden corners of the city that we wouldn’t have found on our own. If you’re in Hanoi, seeing the Train Street is definitely a must. However, the main Train Street area is often very crowded, and it’s hard to get a proper view because of the number of people. With this tour, they take you to a quieter section of the railway where you can really enjoy the full view of the train passing by. We were very impressed, and my whole family loved the experience. Highly recommend joining this tour if you’re visiting Hanoi!

This was one of the best tours we’ve done. The guides are genuinely knowledgeable

We had an excellent tour in Hanoi. The guides were very genuine and knowledgeable, and Trung made the experience even better with his friendly personality and great storytelling. He showed us local favorite places we wouldn’t have found on our own. The tour was fun, well-paced, and perfect for our family. Highly recommended.

Motorbike Street Food Tour with Morning Bites and Night Cravings: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hanoi.

How much does Motorbike Street Food Tour with Morning Bites and Night Cravings cost?

+

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hanoi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Motorbike Street Food Tour with Morning Bites and Night Cravings take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hanoi is not rushed.

Is Motorbike Street Food Tour with Morning Bites and Night Cravings worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hanoi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Motorbike Street Food Tour with Morning Bites and Night Cravings?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Motorbike Street Food Tour with Morning Bites and Night Cravings suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Motorbike Street Food Tour with Morning Bites and Night Cravings?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Motorbike Street Food Tour with Morning Bites and Night Cravings start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hanoi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hanoi?

+

On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ha Giang Loop 3-Day Small Group - from Hanoi, (Group/Individual) HANOI STREET FOOD TOUR, Incense Village Quang Phu Cau, Hat Village and Hanoi City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hanoi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hanoi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
