Excellent guide, but the itinerary did not match the description

Dear Šugaman Tours, We would like to share our feedback about today’s tour. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the description in several important aspects. First, the tour is advertised as starting in Omiš. However, nowhere was it mentioned that the actual excursion only begins in Split. This meant an additional 1.5 hours of bus travel for us, which we had not expected when booking. Secondly, the time spent at the different stops did not match the itinerary. We had only about 30 minutes in the first village and only around 50 minutes at the Kravice Waterfalls, even though we had to pay an additional €10 entrance fee. Overall, we were away from approximately 6:00 a.m. until 8:40 p.m. Out of almost 15 hours, only about 4.5 hours were actual sightseeing and activities. The remaining time was spent on the bus. We understand that long transfers are unavoidable on this route, but the description should clearly state this so guests know what to expect. The schedule at the stops should also be more realistic. We would also like to emphasize that our tour guide, Laura, and our bus driver were both exceptionally friendly, professional, and competent throughout the day. Their positive attitude and excellent service truly “saved” the experience and are the reason we are giving this feedback as constructive criticism rather than simply leaving with a negative impression. The destinations themselves were beautiful, but the organization and the misleading description unfortunately did not meet our expectations.

    Tour operator didn’t show up

Incredibly disappointing experience. Operator never showed up. I booked the tour nearly a week in advance, selecting from one of their allowed pick up options at a hotel. They confirmed the night before with a pickup time via WhatsApp, noting the location is not at the hotel but at a city bus stop nearby. Upon arriving at the location a few minutes early, I confirmed I was there. I was told the bus was a little late due to traffic. After waiting 20 minutes I asked again about the pickup. I was told the “ Hi, so we just contacted the guide and driver and because of operational issues your pick up got missed. It is totally our mistake.” They offered to move my tour to another day but I depart tomorrow. They declined to have the tour come back and pick me up. Despite all the communication back and forth the tour operator acknowledged “With multiple pick ups, the Atrium hotel was missing on the list.” How is one of their pre-set pickup locations missing from their pickup list? Given the bus was running late anyway I’m not sure how they could have been too far away to pick someone up after 20 minutes. They’ve promised a refund but left me stranded on my last day in town and it’s too late to book a similar tour given the drive time. Also, the price for the tour is misleading. It does not include an additional 15 euro in charges that must be paid in cash at pickup. That’s buried in the fine print.

What a great way to spend a day!

This is an absolutely great day. Barry was an excellent guide and Sasha was very informative for our tour of Mostar. Anton was a very reliable driver and got us the trough the border no issues. We loved all the little stops and stories of the history in the area, and the waterfalls were definitely a highlight of the trip. Of note, a lot of the area only takes cash, not card so plan accordingly!!

    A great time

Awesome tour, very informative and fun! The border was easy to go through and we had a good amount of time at each location.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the great feedback! We're so happy to hear you had fun and found the tour informative. It's also great to know the border crossing went smoothly and that you felt the timing at each stop was just right. We hope to see you again on another tour soon!

    Not to be missed.

From start to finish this is an excellent daytrip. We were collected from our hotel by taxi that had been arranged by the trip organiser. Having met up with the rest of the group and the fabulous Elana and brilliant driver we set off travelling through scenic countryside, leaving the cityscape of Split behind us. Soaring cliffs, wide verdant valleys were a sight to behold. Elana's narrative told us so much about the area and where we were headed. First stop a small village. Small but big in history and character. Next Mostar. Mostar is worth a visit. The bridge across the river a sight to see. Watch for the jumpers!! A must is the bridge museum to learn more about this amazing architecture and how it was rebuilt after the war. Ice cream to die for. Our tour guide here came from Mostar and gave useful tips. Three hours went all too quickly. Than on to the waterfalls. Astounding!! All I can say is.... go and discover this most beautiful place for yourself. Thank you to everyone who made this such a great day.

Mostar & Kravice waterfalls full-day guided tour from Omiš: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Split.

How much does Mostar & Kravice waterfalls full-day guided tour from Omiš cost?

    +

Prices start at $109 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Mostar & Kravice waterfalls full-day guided tour from Omiš take?

    +

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Split is not rushed.

Is Mostar & Kravice waterfalls full-day guided tour from Omiš worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Mostar & Kravice waterfalls full-day guided tour from Omiš?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Mostar & Kravice waterfalls full-day guided tour from Omiš suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Mostar & Kravice waterfalls full-day guided tour from Omiš?

    +

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Mostar & Kravice waterfalls full-day guided tour from Omiš start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Split?

    +

On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Split?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Split?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
