Worthwhile trip to Bosnia from Croatia.
I booked this trip to Mostar and Kravica waterfalls with Viator from Trogir. Our guide Petar was friendly and approachable. This trip went through the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina, and our guide ensured a straightforward crossing across the border at the start and end of the trip. We spend most of our time in Mostar, and a local guide was provided for Mostar. It is an interesting area with plenty of places to eat and plenty of souvenirs shops. Kravica waterfalls are beautiful, and it is nice going for a swim by the waterfalls. At the end of the trip, I requested that I be dropped off by Split airport, and they facilitated my request. I arrived over two hours before my flight. My flight was after 10pm that evening. I wouldn’t book this trip on the same day as you are flying out unless you have a very late flight, since the timings can be quite tight.
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for your detailed review! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed Mostar, Kravica Waterfalls, and your time with Petar. We appreciate your kind words and are glad we could assist with your airport drop-off request. Safe travels, Tours in Croatia

Bosnia and Herzegovina is stunning.
Great trip with some beautiful sights. Despite the rain, our tour guide Ivanka kept up the energy and kept us on track throughout the day with a great dose of history and info. This was definitely worth the long day - great to come at the end of tourist season where everything was not so busy.
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the trip and that Ivanka helped make the day enjoyable despite the weather. Safe travels, Tours in Croatia

Great tour into Bosnia & Herzegovina
Was a wonderful trip into Bosnia & Herzegovina from Split to see the town of Mostar and the waterfalls at Kravica. Tour has a first stop across the border at Čapljina, where you either have time to enjoy some Bosnian coffee and something to eat or take a hike up the hill to the Počitelj Fortress. While Tin is the main tour guide, he hands over to Philip for the hour guide around Mostar before you have a couple of free hours to spend, which is enough time to see the town and the bridge along with navigating against the wave of tourist also doing a guided tour. The Kravica waterfalls are impressive to see, but the path down is not the best, so do wear decent shoes. Unlike other waterfalls, this is not a nature reserve, but very much a place where the locals go to avoid the heat since there is no beach. The place can be crowded and has a lot of kiosks and bars at the bottom so don’t expect solitude. Still, I do recommend this trip and it is worth coming to visit Bosnia & Herzegovina as this country has been through a lot in the past 30 years, and its scars from the war are still visible today. Tin was an excellent tour guide, really friendly and approachable and very much there to help you get the most out of the trip.
Response from the operator: Hello Thank you so much for your detailed review! We are really happy to hear that you enjoyed the trip and that Tin and Philip made your day even better. We hope you had a great time exploring Mostar and Kravica Waterfalls. It was a pleasure having you with us! 😊 Kind regards Tours in Cro

A day trip which went in so fast it felt like an hour!
Our trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina was amazing, if you are anyway hesitate to visit this country don’t be! Our tour guide Barry was amazing from the first minute to the last ensuring we were very well looked after and also provided local history on places we drove past on our way to Bosnia and then a brief history of the country as we entered into it after the border. Along with his funny wit which kept the bus entertained, he also made several suggestions of what to see/do/eat in the locations we stopped in! Overall a 10/10 day and experience!
Response from the operator: Dear Customer, Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re really happy to hear you had such a great day in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We’re glad Barry made the trip fun and interesting and helped you get the most out of your day. We hope to see you again! 😊 Kind regards, Tours in Croatia

Mostar & Kravice Waterfalls Day Trip from Split/Trogir/Omiš: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Split.
How much does Mostar & Kravice Waterfalls Day Trip from Split/Trogir/Omiš cost?
+
Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mostar & Kravice Waterfalls Day Trip from Split/Trogir/Omiš take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Split is not rushed.
Is Mostar & Kravice Waterfalls Day Trip from Split/Trogir/Omiš worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 158 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mostar & Kravice Waterfalls Day Trip from Split/Trogir/Omiš?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mostar & Kravice Waterfalls Day Trip from Split/Trogir/Omiš suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mostar & Kravice Waterfalls Day Trip from Split/Trogir/Omiš?
+
Around 55 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mostar & Kravice Waterfalls Day Trip from Split/Trogir/Omiš start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Split?
+
On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Split?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Split?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
