⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable cooking experience in Essaouira!
What an amazing experience we had with Khadija and her husband Mohamed! We joined the cooking class as a family — my husband, my mom, my 9-year-old daughter, and myself — and every single one of us absolutely loved it! We prepared a delicious vegetable tagine and chicken pastilla, learned so much about traditional Moroccan cooking, and enjoyed every moment of the experience. Khadija and Mohamed are such wonderful, warm, and welcoming people. The atmosphere, the beautiful setup, the positive energy, and the genuine hospitality made the whole experience incredibly special. The four hours literally flew by! It was so much more than just a cooking class — it was a beautiful cultural experience and a wonderful family memory. We would absolutely do it again if we’re ever back in Essaouira. Highly, highly recommend! ❤️

Mohammed and Khadija are very kind and welcoming hosts. I would highly recommend this to experience authentic Moroccan food and hospitality, where you really feel welcome in the country and culture:)

Absolutely wonderful evening
We had a wonderful experience with Khadija & her husband. Was only myself & my husband which made it even more more intimate. We had an incredibly warm welcome into their beautiful home and learned a lot about Moroccon cooking in general and specifically learned how to cook vegetable & kofta tagines. And as an incredible bonus, Khadija taught us how to make harcha bread as I'd asked about some tips for cooking it. We had a great time and spent some time chatting whilst enjoying the food we had cooked. Cannot recommend this enough. It was a fantastic evening. Thank you again.

Tajine class with Khadija
What a memorable evening! Khadija welcomed us in her beautiful home and taught us how to prepare and cook a delicious chicken lemon and vegetarian tajine. We also had mint tea and biscuits while having great conversations in her living room. We received the recipes afterwards and will definitely try this at home! I'm so glad I chose to do this class, I felt at home and definitely recommend this experience! Shukran Khadija for making my day a special one!

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Essaouira?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Essaouira?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
