    3. Montana de Montserrat

The Rocky Massif of Montserrat has been declared as Natural Park in 1987, and characterised by the rounded shape of its peaks. Once you reach the monastery, you have plenty of options and your guide will always adjust to your interests. We invite you to take an easy walk of around 30 min to enjoy one of the most astonishing views of the natural park, but if you wish you can also decide to enjoy other activities that the mountain offers.

    8. After the visit of Montserrat, you will get back on the road to head to the Penedès region. Because of the bright sun and the Mediterranean Sea, the Penedès region has one of the widest varieties of grapes of any wine region in the world. In this magic area time has stopped as the surroundings, the vineyards and even the culinary traditions are still the same as many years before.

      60 minutes here

    9. Among the many lands of the Penedes Area, we have chosen the most representative of the Cava production: Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, the capital of Cava. You will discover the origins of this sparkling wine in the hometown of the most ancient and traditional wineries, since its wine growing past goes back to almost five centuries of antiquity.

      60 minutes here

    10. Enjoy a short walking tour through the center of Sant Sadurní to understand the importance of Cava in the historical development of the area. Alba was our guide and...

Alba was our guide and she was so great! 8 of us on the tour and the hotel pickup was a nice touch. Alba gave us some great history of the Montserrat and then we had time to explore alone. Giulia at the winery was also fantastic and gave such detailed history of the vineyard. Would highly recommend!

    Montserrat tour plus wine tasting

We had an excellent travel experience on this tour. The driver picked us up in a nine person van right at the entrance to our rented apartment. He then drove our group up to the Montserrat Monastery where our he gave us a walking tour of the whole area. We then got a couple of hours to spend on our own revisiting some of the places or taking in the views, and some people took a hike. There's a restaurant available to buy food and drinks at the monastery as well. After our visit to the mountain we stopped at a chocolate store to get some treats and then continued to a wine tasting tour at Art Cava

    Montserrat Vineyard tour

I can't say enough about how wonderful this tour was today. Our tour guide Gaspard picked us up right at our rented apartment and was an exceptional tour guide the entire day. He guided us around Montserrat and gave us ideas of things to do. We then each had two hours to roam around and do things outside of the tour group. After our Montserrat tour we visited a chocolate store and then had an awesome tour at A Kava vineyard. Everything was wonderful!

    Recommend with Miguel

Miguel was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and a great driver. We had beautiful conditions in the morning on Montserrat however the weather turned in the afternoon. Lovely to be inside at the winery with our great host. Lovely wines and venue. Highly recommend despite the dad jokes.

Montserrat,Vineyard, Wine Tasting Small Group Tour & Hotel Pickup: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.

How much does Montserrat,Vineyard, Wine Tasting Small Group Tour & Hotel Pickup cost?

    +

Prices start at $123 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Montserrat,Vineyard, Wine Tasting Small Group Tour & Hotel Pickup take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.

Is Montserrat,Vineyard, Wine Tasting Small Group Tour & Hotel Pickup worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 89 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 627 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Montserrat,Vineyard, Wine Tasting Small Group Tour & Hotel Pickup?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Montserrat,Vineyard, Wine Tasting Small Group Tour & Hotel Pickup suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Montserrat,Vineyard, Wine Tasting Small Group Tour & Hotel Pickup?

    +

Around 219 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Montserrat,Vineyard, Wine Tasting Small Group Tour & Hotel Pickup start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Barcelona?

    +

Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Girona & Dali Museum Small Group Tour with Pick-up from Barcelona. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Barcelona?

    +

May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Barcelona?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
