Montserrat Private Tour
Our Montserrat Private Tour from Barcelona with Pick-up was terrific. Adrian our guide was super nice, friendly, and very informative. He took the time to answer our questions and provided lots of information on the sights we were visiting. Adrian also made sure to snap some family pictures at some of our highlighted stops. We had a little extra time on our way back to Barcelona so Adrian took a little side detour to show us some other highlights. I would definitely recommend. Miller Family

Fun trip in the mountain
Very professional guide. The trip was well organized. We beat the big tour groups and we're able to enjoy the mountain and the Monastery before it got too hot and crowded. Our guide Adrian was very knowledgable and full of interesting facts. Also found answers to some questions we had while we were hiking. The AC van we used was extremely comfortable and clean. Adrian's driving was very smooth.

Majectic Montserrat
Perfecto! A truly special journey: the serenity of the mountains, the private spiritual moments in the Throne Room with the Black Madonna and celebrating Mass with Escolania choir, tasting local liquors, delicious cheeses and honey. Adrian is an exceptional guide with his vast knowledge, great timing to avoid the crowds, and generous nature. My girls and I had an unforgetable half day at Montserrat!

Perfect day thanks to our guide, Adrian.
Our driver and guide for the day was Adrian. He was incredible! Pickup at our hotel was smooth and on time. As we drove to Monserat, he gave us lots of information about Barcelona, Montserat, and Catalonia. He was informative, funny and responsive to our questions. We stopped in 2 places for great views. Finally, Montserat. Truly amazing. We learned history and legends; art and architecture. We tasted regional liquors. Inside the Bacilica, Adrian found great seats for us, explained many details and told us about the world famous boys choir. We saw the Black Madonna. After the Boys Choir sang, we took cable car down and rode back to our hotel. Such a perfect day!

Why this scores 79
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Montserrat Private Tour from Barcelona with Pick-up: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does Montserrat Private Tour from Barcelona with Pick-up cost?
+
Prices start at $155 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Montserrat Private Tour from Barcelona with Pick-up take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is Montserrat Private Tour from Barcelona with Pick-up worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 154 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Montserrat Private Tour from Barcelona with Pick-up?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Montserrat Private Tour from Barcelona with Pick-up suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Montserrat Private Tour from Barcelona with Pick-up?
+
Around 54 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Montserrat Private Tour from Barcelona with Pick-up start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
