Enjoyable private tour to Montenegro from Dubrovnik

Zach Zeljan took our family on a tour of Montenegro today and was an amazing host who went above and beyond to make sure we all had a very enjoyable time. Zach tailored the tour to suit our families needs and even included a stop on the way home for a quick swim. Zach was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of back ground and history throughout our tour. Thanks for a great day out Zach!

We had an excellent trip with Mateo. He picked us up on time with a clean van. Communication was easy as they had confirmed the trip on WhatsApp the day before. Very flexible with our needs.

    Never to be forgotten

My teenage daughters and I spent a memorable day with Mateo on a private day trip to Kotor, Montenegro. Firstly the company was very professional, well organised and easy to communicate with. The car was immaculate and well air conditioned, which was important on a very hot day. My girls & I learnt so much interesting information from Mateo. He is not only very knowlegable about the region but he is also so polite, friendly and of very high values and ethics. We really had one of our best days on our holiday and cannot recommend this tour, Mateo and this company more highly. If you are thinking to do a tour with this company, don't hesitate. Do yourself a favour and enjoy a fantastic, stress free , enjoyable trip. We were so happy with the service, we hired them again and Mateo drove us to the airport. It made our departure so much easier as Mateo was punctual, well dressed and helpful. We would definately recommend this tour company & look forward to doing more travels with them again. Thank you so much for an amazing trip.

Response from the operator: Dear Tina, Thank you very much for taking the time to write us such a wonderful review. Reviews like yours are very important to us. We are very happy that you had a wonderful experience with Mateo on a private tour of Montenegro and transfer to the airport. Take care and we hope to see you again soon. Kindest regards to you and your daugthers from Mateo and the entire Super Transfer Services team,

    Best Tour and Transfer Service

My partner and I booked the private tour to Montenegro in July 2019 with Iva. We had such a wonderful time visiting the sites at our pace and chatting in the car with her. We learned a lot about what we wanted to learn about and was able to be flexible with the time we spent at each stop. We went to Kotor, Budva, and Pur Lady of the Rocks. The best part was being able to learn all about the local culture from someone who has grown up in this area. We miss you Iva!!!

Response from the operator: Dear Rachel, I'm very happy to see you writing to us. It is our pleasure that you enjoyed being with us on this private tour. It was really special. I miss you too and hope to see you soon. Kind regards from sunny Dubrovnik,

Montenegro Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.

How much does Montenegro Private Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $212 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Montenegro Private Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.

Is Montenegro Private Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Montenegro Private Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Montenegro Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Montenegro Private Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Montenegro Private Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h), Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
