In this tour, we will be able to see a few of the most interesting sites in the Skopje surrounding. We will visit the Millenium Cross and admire the view of the whole Skopje plain. We will visit the nearby village of Gorno Nerezi to see the beautiful Church of St. Panteleimon, situated in a Monastery complex. And the highlight of the tour will be the Matka Canyon. We will explore this beautiful place on foot, or take a boat ride to the Vrelo Cave. In the end, we will get back into our comfortable vehicle and drive back to Skopje.

The Cross is situated on top of the Vodno Mountain and there is an almost 360 view from up there to the whole Skopje plain. The Cross itself is 66 m high. We will reach to the top using the cable car.

After our descent with the cable car, we will continue our way to the village of Gorno Nerezi to visit the Monastery of St. Panteleimon.

Matka Canyon
After the church visit, we will continue our way to the Matka region. We will arrive at the Matka Canyon and admire the breathtaking views. It is a very beautiful place. We can have a lunch or a coffee break in the local restaurant, or have a boat ride to the Cave Vrelo. Or we can simply walk around the beautiful nature.
