Milan Duomo and city walk
Very expensive without a visit to the rooftop of the Duomo. Should have definitely included rooftop access.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your feedback! We truly appreciate your comment and will take it into consideration for the future. At the moment, the tour includes the visit of the Duomo and its surroundings, offering a unique experience in the very heart of Milan.

Not a great experience - definitely DO NOT sign up solo
I was traveling solo and looking forward to a quick walking tour at the beginning of my experience to orient myself where landmarks were in the city. I went to the meeting spot, but its a 3-sided bookstore that's massive. So I called the office and was told she was running late - truthfully she wasnt that late, maybe just a few minutes. Unfortunately I was the only person signed up... because she said she "had no idea what to show me" ... to which I said repeatedly I just wanted the normal tour, then she tried to cut things out, wanted to go on the subway to see other things even though I said no. Following her was very chaotic because she didnt have much personal space so would walk into me at times while pointing in another direction. Then she had some figures about the income brought in by real estate and cost of renovating ... I'm in Real Estate and can tell you, the numbers were not correct. Told her we could end tour early, she insisted on walking me to the neighborhood my airbnb was in even though I said no multiple times... the tour ended in her stalking me around my building while I tried to enter it. I don't know... I don't think it was malicious, I think maybe she was trying to get a tip? Weird experience and gave a pour impression of Milan.
Response from the operator: We are sorry to read this one-star review, especially because you paid for a group tour but received a private tour since no other bookings were made for that tour. Usually, people are happy to get this upgrade. However, the guide has shared a somewhat different perspective on this tour. You were often on the phone and seemed disinterested, not even wanting to enter the Duomo. You wanted to end the tour early because you needed to return to your hotel to work, and the guide suggested taking the subway. Since you preferred to walk, she kindly offered to accompany you. Once you reached Porta Venezia, you parted ways, but as you were heading in the wrong direction, the guide caught up to point it out, but you insisted you knew where to go. The guide never entered your B&B building and was only trying to be kind. We regret that this kindness was perceived as intrusive. Nevertheless, we hope you were able to enjoy the wonders of the city of Milan!

Not a good experience
We had trouble finding the meeting place,it was changed due to the marathon.I did received an e-mail but could be more specific as to where that meeting point at (it was our first day in Milan and we do not know the area and it’s our first tour).Anyway,I was able to contact our guide and found the meeting place in time for our tour, turned out its just my husband and I so that was a bonus. It was very noisy because marathon was ongoing while we are having the walking tour and also very crowded,we can barely hear our guide Grazie (is very kind and patient),I could have cancelled this tour if i had known about the marathon.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the marathon. Unfortunately, the marathon schedule and its impact on the city are beyond our control. We're glad you were able to find the meeting place and enjoyed the tour with our guide!

Yours was an interesting walk with two children aged 4 and 7 years old, not tiring, the guide was friendly, prepared and very attentive, I highly recommend it.
Response from the operator: Grazie mille Maria, siamo contenti che anche i più piccini abbiano avuto la possibilità di apprezzare la nostra città!

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Milan: Small Group Tour Duomo and Terraces: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Milan.
How much does Milan: Small Group Tour Duomo and Terraces cost?
+
Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Milan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Milan: Small Group Tour Duomo and Terraces take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Milan is not rushed.
Is Milan: Small Group Tour Duomo and Terraces worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Milan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Milan: Small Group Tour Duomo and Terraces?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Milan: Small Group Tour Duomo and Terraces suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Milan: Small Group Tour Duomo and Terraces?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Milan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Milan and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Milan: Small Group Tour Duomo and Terraces start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Milan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Milan?
+
On Outty we rank every Milan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gnocchi, Pasta, Tiramisù and Wine Class, Authentic Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Milan, Milan's Hidden Gems: Unique Bike Tour (ENG, NL). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Milan?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Milan?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
