    About this experience

If you intend to visit Milan, a must is undoubtedly Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper. The great work of the Tuscan genius, preserved in the refectory next to the Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie, is one of the most studied and imitated masterpieces in the world, but also one of the most mysterious and discussed. Follow us on this guided tour, discovering the history and secrets behind the Last Supper and the splendid Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie. During our guided tour of the Upper Room you will understand how every stroke, every detail, every brushstroke, every expression and gesture of the figures represented tells those “motions of the soul” of which Leonardo became the first inventor. And the Last Supper is sublimated from perfect painting to emotional narration.

    We paid for a small...

We paid for a small private tour of the Last Supper painting, and the church. Before and when we went in to see the Last Supper painting, we were mixed with a very large group. It was difficult to hear and understand our guide , Sara. If we had to do it over again, I think I would’ve paid only for a large group experience. Sara was knowledgeable and the experience in the church was better because we were not with a large group.

Response from the operator: Dear guest, Thank you for your feedback. We'd like to clarify that we have no control over who else enters the Last Supper hall during your time slot: access is strictly contingented by the Ministry of Culture, and everyone booked for that same 15-minute slot shares the room together, regardless of the tour operator or type of booking. This rule applies to all visitors equally and isn't something we, or any operator, can change. We're glad the church portion, with Sara's undivided attention, gave you a better sense of what a private experience offers. We're sorry this wasn't clearer beforehand, and thank you again for sharing your thoughts. Kind regards

Milan Last Supper and S. Maria delle Grazie Skip the Line Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Milan.

How much does Milan Last Supper and S. Maria delle Grazie Skip the Line Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $82 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Milan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Milan Last Supper and S. Maria delle Grazie Skip the Line Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Milan is not rushed.

Is Milan Last Supper and S. Maria delle Grazie Skip the Line Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 1,241 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Milan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Milan Last Supper and S. Maria delle Grazie Skip the Line Tour?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Milan Last Supper and S. Maria delle Grazie Skip the Line Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Milan Last Supper and S. Maria delle Grazie Skip the Line Tour?

    +

Around 434 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Milan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Milan and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Milan Last Supper and S. Maria delle Grazie Skip the Line Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Milan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Milan?

    +

On Outty we rank every Milan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gnocchi, Pasta, Tiramisù and Wine Class, Authentic Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Milan, Milan's Hidden Gems: Unique Bike Tour (ENG, NL). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Milan?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Milan?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
