Skip it in Milano
We do the Hop on Hop off in every city we go to on first day to get a feel of area and our bearings. First on this company- staff was rude and headset didn’t work so couldn’t hear any narration. As for Milan, doing this is not worth it as Milan really only has the Duomo as a sightseeing spot. Otherwise you are driving thru areas you won’t want to get off in. And nothing to see of interest. Waste of time and money - not needed in Milan.

Disappointing Trip
I have done many hop-on, hop-off buses across the world. This one left me uninspired. I only did one of the four offered routes (which is amazing to offer that variety). It was really difficult to hear the narration through only one working earbud of the headphones and the entire tour was kind of "blah." I was really disappointed. Felt like a slow drive around downtown with lots of traffic light stops and it didn't help that the temperature that day was 98 degrees F /37 C. Not sure what to recommend for improvements (other than the sound system) because it could have been the city that was not as interesting to explore as other cities.
Response from the operator: We’re sorry to read your feedback; however, it does not align with the high quality standards that our customers recognize and appreciate every day.

Milan modern and sports routes.
Great way to cover a lot more of Milan, and we really enjoyed the different routes depending on your interests.
Response from the operator: Thank you for choosing our service for your trip to Italy. Your feedback will be helpful for our future travelers!

Best way to see Milan
Great way to see the city with the perfect range of different routes to choose from. Would recommend to anyone who needs to quickly familiarise themselves during a short city visit.
Response from the operator: Thank you for choosing our service for your trip to Italy. Your feedback will be helpful for our future travelers!

Convenient idea, but public transport is the better choice
We found the app unreliable, as it crashed several times. It was also difficult to locate some stops, especially near San Siro Stadium, where the signage was unclear. The bus was very crowded and quite hot, making it difficult to enjoy the upper deck. Overall, we don’t think the hop-on hop-off bus offers good value for money. Milan’s public transport is excellent, with easy tap-in/tap-out payment and the freedom to get on and off wherever you like. If you’re comfortable using public transport, we would definitely recommend that instead.
Response from the operator: We’re sorry to read your review, which does not reflect the quality standards our customers confirm every day. We will look into the matter, and your feedback will help us improve our service.

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Milan Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour with Four Routes: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Milan.
How much does Milan Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour with Four Routes cost?
+
Prices start at $27 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Milan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Milan Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour with Four Routes take?
+
Plan for about 0.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Milan is not rushed.
Is Milan Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour with Four Routes worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 1,283 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Milan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Milan Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour with Four Routes?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Milan Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour with Four Routes suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Milan Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour with Four Routes?
+
Around 449 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Milan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Milan and add a light layer if any part of the 0.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Milan Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour with Four Routes start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Milan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Milan?
+
On Outty we rank every Milan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gnocchi, Pasta, Tiramisù and Wine Class, Authentic Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Milan, Milan's Hidden Gems: Unique Bike Tour (ENG, NL). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Milan?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Milan?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
