Highly Recommend
Our private guide was exceptional. A native from Florence who studied in Florida, Ricardo spoke excellent English and far exceeded our expectations with his in depth knowledge of art and history. We learned a lot more information than in a typical group tour. Highly recommend.

Once in a lifetime chance - don't miss booking with Leonardo!
My sister-in-law and I traveled to Italy from the U.S. for work and fun. We have had many tours when we've traveled, and Leonardo was our best guide so far. He provided us with amazing stories, connecting us to the art and society across time. We were able to connect dots from our own knowledge through his phenomenal teaching and expertise. He personalized our experience, provided a fun and exciting experience, and we are filled with joy and understanding after having spent three hours with him for a private tour. This was a once in a lifetime experience and without it, we would not have understood all that we saw. Don't miss it - be sure to have a guide - and be sure to choose Leonardo. He's the best!

Spent lots of money to travel and made preparations through this website to only have the tour canceled. No TripAdvisor
Would’ve given a zero but it wouldn’t let me. Your charter or tour guide canceled on my wife and I less than 24 hours before.
Response from the operator: Hi this is Maria the Office manager of Private tours of Florence, we are a small independent company. I think you posted your review on our page by mistake, in fact we arrange private walking tours in Florence, we haven't cancelled any tour and we don't have you in our records. Are you sure you booked with us? I kindly ask you to remove your review from our page as this is deeply damaging us. I thank you very much in advance for your kindness. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any further clarification. Looking forward to hearing from you. regards, Maria

Wonderful walking tour
My husband, two teenage children, and I took this tour in June. Our tour guide (whose name I wish I could remember) was wonderful. We learned a lot about the Medici family, which was fascinating, And she even talked with my teenage daughter (a bookworm) about writers in Florence. We’d walked around the city on our own the day before, but had a better appreciation of the sights after the tour. And best of all, she could talk in detail about Michelangelo and about David, pointing out many different features from different angles. Even my teenage son enjoyed the tour. I was a bit concerned as there weren’t any recent reviews on this site, but I had no reason to worry. The guide was waiting for us at the appointed location, she was a professional tour guide who spoke perfect English, extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and wanted to make sure we had a great experience. We really enjoyed our morning with her!
