Stopping points were not as described

The host was very nice but we did not stop at the places that were listed as stops on the tour. We only stopped at McDonald’s

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you found our host friendly, but we’re sorry the tour did not meet your expectations regarding the scheduled stops. We’ll review this with our team to ensure the tour itinerary is communicated and followed correctly.

    Cool experience

I loved my experience!! We had enough time to experience Key West/eat. The driver was cool and informativex Finding the pick up location was easy, the bus was pretty clean (could use a wipe down), there’s a toilet on the bus, but no sink. The drive was smooth. We took a 40 min break going and coming back to use the restroom/grab something to eat/drink. The outlets on the bus didn’t work so bring a portable charger. I would recommend

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your detailed and honest review! We’re very happy to hear that you loved your experience and had enough time to enjoy Key West, explore, and grab something to eat. We’re also glad to hear that the pickup process was easy, the ride was smooth, and that our driver made the trip fun and informative. We truly appreciate you pointing out both the positives and the areas where we can improve. Your feedback about the bus outlets and cleanliness is very helpful and will be shared with our team as we continue improving the experience for future guests. Thank you again for recommending us, and we hope to see you again on another adventure soon!

    Point to the destination

For the very low proposed price it remains a very good choice to be transported from Miami to Key West. Driver, however nice and helpful, very eccentric. A stop in islamorada at Rain Barrel Village was planned for breakfast: without any warning instead the stop was made at a mecdonald in another area. Now, I can't say if for having immediately reported to driver (who claimed to have forgotten to make the stop there) or for having written to the tour operator, who responded to the report (they say the barrel village was closed for Mother's Day even if passing it was open ..) the fact is that on the way back we were allowed to stop for photographs (the place was now closed for late hours). The bus alas was quite old with no possibility of cell phone charging (not working sockets) and upstairs (double-decker bus) a continuous smell of exhaust gas. Let's say it's all a bit grotesque but still worth the destination.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We are happy to hear that you felt the trip to Key West was worth it and that our driver was friendly and helpful throughout the journey. We sincerely apologize for the unexpected change of the breakfast stop and for any confusion regarding the Rain Barrel Village location. Occasionally, operational adjustments are necessary, but we understand how important it is to communicate these changes clearly in advance. We also appreciate you bringing the condition of the bus and the issues with the charging outlets and exhaust smell to our attention. Your comments have been shared with our operations team as we are always working to improve our service and guest experience. We truly value your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again on another tour in the future.

Miami to Key West with Islamorada Hop-Off + 6 Hours in Key West: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Miami.

How much does Miami to Key West with Islamorada Hop-Off + 6 Hours in Key West cost?

    +

Prices start at $36 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Miami usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Miami to Key West with Islamorada Hop-Off + 6 Hours in Key West take?

    +

Plan for about 15 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Miami is not rushed.

Is Miami to Key West with Islamorada Hop-Off + 6 Hours in Key West worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Miami, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Miami to Key West with Islamorada Hop-Off + 6 Hours in Key West?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Miami to Key West with Islamorada Hop-Off + 6 Hours in Key West suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 15-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Miami to Key West with Islamorada Hop-Off + 6 Hours in Key West?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Miami can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Miami and add a light layer if any part of the 15-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Miami to Key West with Islamorada Hop-Off + 6 Hours in Key West start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Miami within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Miami?

    +

Miami splits between the water and the neighbourhoods. Biscayne Bay boat tours, Key Biscayne snorkelling and Everglades airboats cover the first, while Wynwood mural walks, Little Havana food crawls and South Beach deco tours cover the second. We rank Everglades operators carefully: many depart from Miami but the good ones run their own boats rather than reselling seats. On Outty we rank every Miami experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 hrs Miami Private Boat with Cooler, Ice, Bluetooth Stereo, Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami, Miami: 2 Hour Private Yacht Cruise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Miami?

    +

November to April, dry season, before hurricane and humidity months. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Miami?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
