    Saw Miami Highlights but …

This tour was disorganized from the start. The bus was 20 minutes late for pickup. It was not communicated on booking that we’d take a bus to a central point and transfer to a touring bus. The guide was friendly and informative but sometimes difficult to understand. The sound system on the bus was not very good making it difficult to hear the guide. The restaurant in Little Havana where we stopped for lunch was OK but not great. I’ve had better Cubano sandwiches elsewhere. Given the traffic in Miami there were too many things they could not control. Consider this tour but look at other offerings as well.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience fell short of expectations. We apologize for the delay at pickup and for not clearly communicating the transfer process during booking. We’ll ensure this information is made more transparent moving forward. We’re glad you found the guide friendly and informative, but we regret that the sound system made it difficult to fully enjoy the commentary. We’ll review this issue to improve audio quality for future tours. Regarding the restaurant stop, we aim to provide enjoyable meal experiences, and your comments about the food quality have been noted for further evaluation. While we strive to account for Miami’s traffic, we understand how it can impact the overall experience. We appreciate your suggestions and will work to refine our offerings. Thank you again for your valuable input, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity in the future. Best regards,

    Delighted

A half-day tour was more than adequate to see the different areas of the city. Especially enjoyed visiting “Little Havana.”

    Horrible service

We called to confirm our hotel pick up gave our location two days prior. Saturday comes we checked out of hotel, and we waited 40 mins and still no one showed up. When we called they told us they emailed me to change the pick up location and said I only had 15 mins to make it to a location 35 mins away. They ended up canceling our tour and told us we were not getting a refund because they emailed me. I’m still waiting on that email . The right thing to do was a proper refund instead of saying they sent an email. Horrible customer service. Will not recommend to anyone.

Response from the operator: Dear Jim M. I am sorry that you could not make it to the meeting point. As stated in the Miami City Tour details we provide pick-ups and drop-offs from selected hotels only. On October 21 we sent you a message, through the TripAdvisor messaging page, advising that the hotel where you were staying was out of the served area and that we could have picked you up at Ocean 5 Hotel, 436 Ocean Blvd, Miami Beach at 9:00 am instead. We accept cancellations without penalty up to 24-hour prior to the departure date. I hope to have the chance to welcome you in the future in one of our tours. With warm regards,

Miami City Highlights Tour with Hotel Pickup: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Miami.

How much does Miami City Highlights Tour with Hotel Pickup cost?

    +

Prices start at $105 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Miami usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Miami City Highlights Tour with Hotel Pickup take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Miami is not rushed.

Is Miami City Highlights Tour with Hotel Pickup worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Miami, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Miami City Highlights Tour with Hotel Pickup?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Miami City Highlights Tour with Hotel Pickup suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Miami City Highlights Tour with Hotel Pickup?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Miami can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Miami and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Miami City Highlights Tour with Hotel Pickup start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Miami within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Miami?

    +

Miami splits between the water and the neighbourhoods. Biscayne Bay boat tours, Key Biscayne snorkelling and Everglades airboats cover the first, while Wynwood mural walks, Little Havana food crawls and South Beach deco tours cover the second. We rank Everglades operators carefully: many depart from Miami but the good ones run their own boats rather than reselling seats. On Outty we rank every Miami experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 hrs Miami Private Boat with Cooler, Ice, Bluetooth Stereo, Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami, Miami: 2 Hour Private Yacht Cruise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Miami?

    +

November to April, dry season, before hurricane and humidity months. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Miami?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
