Shop was locked but no refund given
I had a reservation for a two hour bike rental at 2:00. We were on a layover in Miami. My grandson and I arrived to a locked building with a sign that said they were out for lunch from 1:30-2:00. Another customer came to return bikes from a two hour rental at 2:15 as well. No one came to open again until almost 3:00. We tried to take the bikes out for the short time we had left, but my grandson was so anxious from the stress, my gears were broken, and we had to travel back to the airport to catch a flight, so we had to bring the bikes back after a short ride. We spent a lot of $ to get to Miami Beach and back to the airport just for this one activity. I contacted Viator but they said we had to contact the merchant. The merchant will not give us a refund. They only want to give us a voucher for another bike rental, but we don’t live anywhere near a shop of theirs. It was a very stressful, disappointing situation. I would warn anyone thinking of renting bikes from them to try another company to avoid the situation we were placed in and the very poor customer service afterwards that we experienced.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share this, and we are truly sorry for what happened. Arriving to a locked shop for a confirmed reservation — especially during a layover with limited time — is completely unacceptable and not the experience we want for any of our guests. We understand how stressful and disappointing this must have been for you and your grandson. We would very much like to look into this further and find a resolution that works for you. Please reach out to us directly with your booking details so we can make this right. We appreciate your patience and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Fun, easy and relatively affordable.
We love renting bikes where we go, and couldn’t pass up the chance to ride along the paths in Miami Beach. The bikes were clean and in good shape, the address is super easy to find and conveniently located. Spent several hours tripping up and down the beach and stopping for a drink and lunch, etc.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the great review! Sounds like the perfect Miami Beach day — cruising the paths, stopping for lunch and drinks, and soaking it all in at your own pace. That's exactly what we love to hear! We hope to see you again on your next visit!

A rental experience that could have turned into a tragedy
Very bad experience. I rented a bike for 2 hours from this rental company in South Beach through Booking. Unfortunately the bike was defective. Was the front wheel mounting butterfly missing on the bike? See attached photos. This bike rental company put my life in danger and I could have ended up in the hospital???. Fortunately, I had taken a helmet at my request. When I noticed the problem after half an hour, because I had vibrations in the front wheel, I returned on foot pushing the bike to the store! carefully check the equipment you are renting from this rental company before taking possession of it. The boss is very unpleasant and rude. I regret having crossed paths with this person and his bike rental store. This experience could have turned into a nightmare if I had continued cycling without realizing the problem.

Perfect!
Perfect service with Unlimited biking in Miami Beach. We had a wonderful time riding beside the beach and marina. The bikes were top notch and the guy who served us was attentionned and informed us pretty well on where to go.

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Miami Beach Bike Rentals: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Miami.
How much does Miami Beach Bike Rentals cost?
+
Prices start at $16 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Miami usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Miami Beach Bike Rentals take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Miami is not rushed.
Is Miami Beach Bike Rentals worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Miami, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Miami Beach Bike Rentals?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Miami Beach Bike Rentals suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Miami Beach Bike Rentals?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Miami can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Miami and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Miami Beach Bike Rentals start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Miami within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Miami?
+
Miami splits between the water and the neighbourhoods. Biscayne Bay boat tours, Key Biscayne snorkelling and Everglades airboats cover the first, while Wynwood mural walks, Little Havana food crawls and South Beach deco tours cover the second. We rank Everglades operators carefully: many depart from Miami but the good ones run their own boats rather than reselling seats. On Outty we rank every Miami experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 hrs Miami Private Boat with Cooler, Ice, Bluetooth Stereo, Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami, Miami: 2 Hour Private Yacht Cruise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Miami?
+
November to April, dry season, before hurricane and humidity months. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Miami?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
