They’re made with blue corn and served at a **traditional street food stand**, giving you a real taste of Mexico City’s everyday food culture. Then we’ll explore **San Rafael**, nestled near the Tabacalera district in Mexico City. It’s a captivating neighborhood that effortlessly blends urban charm with artistic flair, with tree-lined streets and a lively mix of historic architecture and contemporary establishments.

It is of art deco style, with a cover in which stand out two sculptures carved in stone showing the masks of comedy and tragedy. Behind them there is a large window that illuminated the lobby of the cinema. In its interiors it had luxurious furnishings and coverings such as bronze and crystal chandeliers and mirrored walls.

We’ll continue with **more traditional Mexican food**, discovering different flavors and dishes along the way. From **Monday to Saturday**, we’ll also visit a really interesting traditional market, where you can experience a more authentic side of Mexico City and see the ingredients, colors, and everyday life of a local market. **On Sundays, the route may be slightly different**, but we’ll still make sure to introduce you to plenty of delicious traditional Mexican food. We’ll also explore **Santa María la Ribera**, a charming neighborhood known for its mix of architectural styles, reflecting different periods of Mexico’s history. You’ll find beautiful Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and neoclassical buildings throughout the area. One of its most iconic landmarks is the **Kiosco Morisco**, an ornate iron-and-glass gazebo inspired by Moorish architecture.

Off the Beaten Path Tour — WORTH IT!!
I cannot express what a GREAT tour this is!! We did the Off The Beaten Path tour and it was fantastic. This was our first full day and a perfect way to kick off our trip. The food stops were DELICIOUS, Mario was a wonderful guide, and we learned so much. 11/10 recommend.

Great tour. Would do it again
With Simon as my guide, this was an awesome tour. He made sure the tour was educational, safe and fun. The food was fantastic and the information Simon shared was more tasty than the food I’d eaten elsewhere in La Condensa. We finished the tour with a Michelada that was very refreshing.
