Superb taco tour with Nicolas

We had an amazing taco tour with Nicolas and can’t recommend him highly enough. He was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. The tour felt truly personalised, and we loved discussing the history and architecture of Mexico City while visiting his favourite taco spots. Every place he took us to was outstanding – authentic local gems we never would have found on our own. Nicolas was personable, accommodating, and an endless source of fascinating insights about the city and its food culture. A great way to understand the city through its food. Highly recommended!

Ingrid was the best!

What a fun afternoon! Ingrid did a fantastic job choosing taco places to see. My husband is gluten free and she made sure to find places that could accommodate dietary restrictions and still give us a wonderful variety of tastes and experiences.

Response from the operator: We’re happy that Ingrid made your afternoon so enjoyable and ensured your husband’s dietary needs were taken care of, all while giving you a delicious variety of flavors and experiences. Thank you so much for sharing your experience! So glad you had a fun time!

Best tacos in Roma Norte

This was our favorite tour in Mexico City! Isaac was an amazing tour guide who took his time with us and made the experience so special. He took us to some amazing taco spots and a dessert place. He knew the Roma Norte neighborhood well and even took us to a park and gave history lesson. Issac started as a guide and left as a new friend.

Response from the operator: We’re thrilled to hear that Isaac made your Mexico City experience so memorable and that you enjoyed the taco and dessert spots, as well as the history and sights of Roma Norte. It’s fantastic that he was able to connect with you so personally — starting as a guide and ending as a new friend.

Mexico City Taco Tour with a Local Foodie: 100% Personalized & Private: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does Mexico City Taco Tour with a Local Foodie: 100% Personalized & Private cost?

+

Prices start at $41 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Mexico City Taco Tour with a Local Foodie: 100% Personalized & Private take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is Mexico City Taco Tour with a Local Foodie: 100% Personalized & Private worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 31 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Mexico City Taco Tour with a Local Foodie: 100% Personalized & Private?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Mexico City Taco Tour with a Local Foodie: 100% Personalized & Private suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Mexico City Taco Tour with a Local Foodie: 100% Personalized & Private?

+

Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Mexico City Taco Tour with a Local Foodie: 100% Personalized & Private start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

+

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
